This small museum located next door to the Barbed Wire Museum is well worth a visit. It has a collection of tools used to produce the limestone posts used by the early settlers, as there were no trees for wooden posts. There is also a restored train depot and bank to check out with period accounting machines. Drive the back roads through Kansas and you will see hundreds of the old limestone posts still in use. A local woman is very knowledgeable about the history and buildings and will gladly answer any questions.
