I'm not sure we've bought nuts before here, but we tried some during our latest trip to Nashville. The man said the cashews we wanted were available hot, as he had a batch coming out. They were very hot, and delicious! But we were surprised that they came out of a fryer, especially since there was what appeared to be an antique nut roaster right beside the fryer. My mom asked if they were always fried, and the man said that's the way nuts are always "roasted". Hmmm...we're skeptical, but they were tasty!

35 years ago we visited the Jack & Jill nut shop while on a date to Nashville, IN. Mouthwatering hot buttered cashews!!!!!!!! We sat on a curb and ate a pound!!!!!! Stopped again this weekend and the same shop still open and thought we were in for a treat. The man in the store was rther rude when I asked if the cashews were hot and fresh since there was not very many left. He stated they were made a few hours ago and did not offer to make more. We bought a 1/2 pound (all that was left) and sat on a bench to eat the tasty treat. They were cold and lacking taste. Paying $8 for 1/2 pound of nuts, we were disappointed. Don't waste your time here.
