My husband and I went here for Valentines Day and it was a great price for 2 people which included a bottle of wine, 2 entrees w/ sides and a dessert. The food and wine were really great what wasn't great was the service. My husband and I arrived at 7:30 and over 5 couples came after us but everyone was getting their food before us. They said they gave our food away by mistake. I ordered well done and my meat was very red and not cooked in the inside so they had to send it back and this is after waiting over an hour. We finally received our food around 9:00pm and by the time my meat came back cooked it was about 9:30 so we just took our food to go. So we spent valentine's dinner eating a buttered roll and wine. By the time my husband and I received our food there was NO ONE left but us. Everyone was checking on us and apologizing except the waitress. She didn't seem like she knew what was going on and hardly came to see what was going on with our food. The managers were very apologetic but I would never go here again or recommend this place to anyone.

Although listed in Nashville, Georgia we stop at the other location in Sparks, Georgia as it is at exit 41 of I-75. We are off and back on in less than 2/10ths of a mile. I love those Muscadine grapes and blended wines at Horse Creek Winery. This is one of our very favorite vineyards. The folks there are very cheerful and aware of the quality they offer. We always get two-each of our favorites and buy at least a case each stop on our way to our home in Florida. While the Florida wines have raised prices above their value we are delighted to see the Horse Creek and Georgia wineries hold the line at a fair price for excellent wines.

This winery offered a great tasting room with an eclectic atmosphere. The flights were very reasonably priced. The scenery is beautiful.

Muscadine wine is as southern as Scarlet O'Hara and Horse Creek does an excellent job in making it. The wines are clean tasting and fresh, and some of them are in the semi-sweet category. We had a very nice lunch, the ruben sandwich may have been the best we ever had. Staff was very friendly on the day we were there, the chef even came out to chat with us. We shall certainly stop again.

This is for the winery in Sparks, GA, right off I-75 in Georgia. We have been buying their wines for several years now, either coming or going from Florida, where we go to get on cruise ships. This time, we decided to have lunch in their Bistro. The food was very good--we had sandwiches with the apple cole slaw, which was one of the best cole slaws we have ever tasted--but the service was slow with a capital "S." It was over 5 minutes after we sat down before someone came to give us our menus--and we were the only ones in the restaurant, which had just opened up for lunch. It also took another 5 minutes at least to get our ice teas and for the waitress to take our orders. I ordered the special, a hot turkey sandwich with cheese, bacon, and avocado, with the cole slaw and my husband ordered the beef sandwich with their special horseradish sauce and also the cole slaw. It took 25 minutes for us to get our sandwiches. I mean, they were just sandwiches. Even if I had to slice the meat and peel the avocado myself, and toast everything myself, I could have made them both in half that time. Once we got our sandwiches, the service got much better, with several people checking back with us, including the manager, to see how we liked our food and if we needed anything else. So, four stars for the food and its freshness and taste and three stars for the spotty service.

I was so disappointed in this place. It advertised on billboards free wine tastings and I am very picky so I was excited about being able to try BUT when we arrived the girl who "greeted" us was very rude and condescending about it. We asked to try a sweet wine, the sweetest they had, and she asked if we planned on buying before she'd give us a sample. I told her we did if we liked it but couldn't say until we tried it. I liked the Ponderosa, their sweetest but my husband wanted to try two others. She acted as if we were a real pain in her butt...rushed us and definitely annoyed to wait on us and having to provide another sample. I was only going to purchase one because of her attitude but my husband ended up buying a 2nd one. They were preparing for a special event and generally acted like "shoppers" were in the way and we definitely felt like they were trying to push us out. If you're going to have a place that offers hours...then ACCEPT your customers with open arms, not an attitude and if you don't want customers during a wedding THEN CLOSE THE PLACE! Will NEVER stop here again and will tell everyone we know how rude they were. Isn't the whole point to sell wine?

Rented the Nashville Venue for my husbands 50th B day Bash.( July) The Venue is beautiful and the grounds were kept very well. The staff struggled a little with details. Jessica was a pleasure to work with in setting up the event but was not on site the night of the party. I was a little confused as to what the young ladies on site JOB actually was.. I had a few questions and they seemed kind of put out when I asked them to assist me , Garbage cans, where the drinks were and if we could get another Bin of just Ice for our guests.just to name a few.The tables for the caterer's did not have table cloths on them.. again just a little confusion.. I would do business with them again but I would be VERY clear what your buying and what to expect from the staff on site.. The beer cost was HIGH.. $50 a case. The slushie cost was reasonable. About 30 mins bf our party was over a Group of young College aged kids come over to the Dance floor, then made themselves Comfortable on the Porch while we were staying good bye to our out of town guests. I felt this was Rude simply bc we rented the venue for the evening.. Learned later these young men were friends of the workers. Again I loved it, but Hope that the owners work with the staff to refine some of the details/responsiblities when the venue is rented .

We were on our way back from Miami and stopped in for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! The steaks were wonderful, the service delightful and we picked up a few bottles of wine as well.

We had a great time out with the girls here. The service was great and the wine tasting was fantastic--I did not taste a bad wine there! So nice to have local people making local, good wine!

While traveling back from a Braves game, we stopped at the Horse Creek Winery located right off of Interstate 75. Once you exit the interstate you make two quick rights and you're at the location. The tasting room is a large open area with a reasonable size tasting counter. I tried the five samples for $5 which included the glass. Because I live in California, I chose five samples from their own vineyard rather than the California wines they offered. All five were very palatable and sweet and before leaving we purchased four bottles. While talking with the young staff, we found that they knew about their wines but very little about wines overall. The girls were very friendly and fun to chat with.

We stopped in to grab dinner and we were greeted by a very nice man who instructed us where to go. Then we waited... No one acknowledged us until someone asked if we had been help. We said no and they continued their conversation. We were never given menus and no one seemed to care when we walked out.

I stopped by yesterday on my way home to Atlanta and had their tasting - 5 wines $5 and you keep the glass. I tried two of their vinifera wines (grapes bought elsewhere) and three of their locally grown muscadine wines. All were excellent. My faith in muscadine wine has been restored after a bad experience with another winery here in NE Georgia. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The winery is located at exit 42 off of I-75 in south Georgia. It's right next to the interstate so there is no having to drive around looking for it.

While on a trip I was told by some people that I met that I needed to make sure I tried Horse Creek Winery. I looked up the winery, their wines and some reviews and knew I needed to make a stop. To my amazement, I found they have more than one location. They have a place I could do my tasting right off of the I-75 in Sparks, GA. Getting on and off of the expressway was very easy and parking was great. When I walked up to the front door I found a very clean entrance and was quickly greeted when I walked in. Some of the staff were talking among themselves and ended their conversation to make sure I was being taken care of. You don’t find that kind of good customer service very often anymore. After checking out the beautiful building I made my way back to do a tasting. The room was very bright and comfortable, the staff member was very informative and I enjoyed almost everything that I tasted. My favorite is the Ponderosa Gold, and the Gone to the Beach selections are very good as frozen drinks. Horse Creek Winery had a great selection that appeals to the wide range of wine lovers – sweet, semisweet all the way to the dryer wines. I enjoyed the very informative staff that know how to make the tasting fun. Make extra room in the car because you are going to want to take a case home with you.

I enjoy stopping at different wineries!! This winery had a nice selection and jellies from wine, as well. I did some gift shopping there!!! I enjoyed the wine tasting. They have several good wines.
