Of course, you can't really miss the beautiful antebellum courthouse that stands on the same site as the school and jail. The school is quaint and the local FFA chapter did a terrific job with the renovation. Call ahead to arrange a tour. And don't miss a chance to walk through the courthouse, which --though still in active use--has lots of historical information on display, including information about an infamous murder that took place in the building and remained us solved for many years. At the time of this writing, there was no listing for the Courthouse, hence my mentioning it here.

The old one-room school house sits right next to the Caswell County Jail. It was built in 1913 as a field school. The Historian Club does give tours of the historic buildings but you need to contact them to find out when.
