Hello,As often is the case for large buildings, there can be and are more than one business located in one area. In our case the museum and bike shop are distinct entities, and different businesses, owners and workers. Our museum is full of cars, yes, but we have over 150 vehicles on display, you get to see a lot for your money. They are well maintained, clean, and displayed nicely with information on each and also exhibits that allow for photos. Not many places can you see so many items on display for a reasonable price, we keep our rates in line with and often below other attractions in the area while maintaining a large inventory. In addition, we do have AC that we run daily, we have a very nice large facility, that we try our hardest to maintain, while keeping costs low and within reason. Anywhere in this whole Lake Norman area with such a large space in the heat of the southern summer (July), will have some sort of heat. We make sure guests feel comfortable and welcomed in our facility, and I am sorry you felt anything different. I hope you got to enjoy the rest of your visit to our area, as there are many nice attractions!Thanks!

We are sorry it was hot, with such a large facility housing 150 cars we do have multiple AC units, but the southern heat is strong and we try to maintain a balance to keep prices low and within reason to not negatively impact admissions prices. No dislike. Was a really nice place to visit. Saw a lot of things that I did know were still around. That being the truck that Geoff Bodine wrecked in Daytona. There were several things that I saw for the first time. What I mean are a lot of old and rare cars. It is hard for me to explain everything in there, it is a must see for a race fan. I think it was $10 to get in.

why cant all museums be like this one? so many exhibits. walked it once took pictures. walked it again n saw so many things that I didnt spot the first time so walked it again

In addition to vintage cars and similar vehicles in size, there were bikes, wagons, "soap box" racers, etc. that reminded me of some of the things I had or saw as a kid. The cars were interesting, several of which had been used in movies. There were also on display items related to cars, old fuel pumps, vintage signs, etc. Allow yourself at least an hour for this worthwhile visit.
