A special place filled with history of local heros. Especially nice for veterans. A hand of friendship.

Museum, veterans' hangout, and coffee shop.They hold "Veterans' Day" every Thursday, including live music.

Had a nice visit here. Made me feel appreciated for my military service during the Viet Nam war era. Met some of my contemporaries, and really enjoyed the ambiance. Nice coffee and snacks, too!

First time I went to this place was with a veteran of Viet Nam who had served three tours.You could tell it was an emotional time for him and others. Much was given and sacrificed but many that was never fully appreicated. We from that area appreciate and we appreicate greatly.They do serve food but forget that. Food is incidental to the sacrifice that so many gave.I highly recommend that anyone who lived through this period, drop in and visit this place and remember those who gave so much.

We have supported and enjoyed this business since Richard started it many years ago. We are so glad that people cared enough to continue the legacy!

The museum has been listed as a coffee shop but it's so much more than that! It's a tribute to living veterans of all wars. Not only does this museum provide a meeting place for living vets, it's packed with captivating exhibits that capture the wars and conflicts that we have been through. What caught our eye was a display of women in military in the front window. They had the toolbox used by Rosie the Riveter displayed along dozens of other items of interest. When we went in the the "coffee shop" we were warmly welcomed.We took my cousin, a 93 year old WW2 veteran to the Thursday morning get together. When we arrived there were close to 100 vets including a 96 year old vet that fought in the Pacific during WW2. What a privilege it was to meet these heros. If you go to downtown Mooresville don't miss this treasure.
