We stopped here as we were leaving the Kitty Hawk area to look for glass lighthouses. I didn't see any of those (although they do have lighthouses) but did find other treasures in the sprawling areas that this large shop contains. It's a themed place, with eye catching, colorful collections in each room that you wander through, up stairs and down, around corners, up to the attic and down to the basement. A very fascinating place. If you can't find a gift or keepsake here, there's something wrong. A very fun place.

I have stopped here many time over the years. They always have some great items to check out. My wife likes some of the wines. You can always pick up a few treasures when you stop.

I could have spent all day in The Cotton Gin! Picked up some great gifts to remember our trip. Have a piece in my office "In My Mind I'm On Vacation"..to help me until our next back to The Outer Banks!

The Cotton Gin is a lovely gift shop with a little of everything. Higher end, means higher prices but quality.

My husband and I happened upon this store on a day trip to the Outer Banks about a year ago and made a point to stop in again when we did another similar trip a few days ago. This store is amazing! There is truly something for everyone. We've spent close to two hours in there every time we've gone and we love it! From books to food to jewelry to Christmas decorations, this store really has it all. It's a blast to just browse in and kill some time. Stop in and check it out!
