The kids loved this place! We took the tour with a 12, 8, and 4 year old. Cows, ice cream, and fresh chocolate milk!

A great place to get organic foods and healthy dairy products with a pleasing staff. I go there often.

Saw an ad in a local newsletter in Clemson & was intrigued with what Happy Cow had to offer. I was really happy with my purchases, though I wished it was more an "experience" but maybe if there was a tour available when we went.We brought a cooler with ice packs in the car to bring our goodies home without the fear of losing our items with the long drive (45min). We got 2 pints (~$3.50 ea) of ice cream to bring home; Cherry Vanilla & Cookie dough, both are awesome! They have more of flavors than I anticipated, even birthday cake! Probably somewhere around 8-10 flavors if the freezer were full. They sell 1/2 gallons (~$7.50) of different flavors & then single serving sizes of chocolate & vanilla (~$1.99). They also have a big selection of cheeses that vary in price. We were told by someone at City Scape winery (also a neat spot) to try the smoked Bacon so we bought that & the buffalo wing cheese. We went home & were more than happy with the flavor of both! We have plans to use the smoked bacon with burgers & do something with chicken with the buffalo wing. However, I bet it would be fine as a part of a great cheese platter. Each was about $5 for the .7lb block we got. For milk we bought 1/2 gal of chocolate & strawberry milk (~$3.05) but wish we got a whole gallon. It is amazing! Didn't get regular milk because we had a lot at the house already, but next time we will get all three! I think strawberry only comes in half gallon sizes. They also have a small selection of produce: peaches, watermelon, cabbage, green beans, spinach, spring mix. Maybe a few others. I bought a bag of spinach for $2.50 & it was more than I expected when I went home to wash it. They also have meats (grass fed beef), eggs, & tons of sauces/spices/syrups, & jams! Wish I had an opportunity to buy/buy it all! I think it's worth a trip, but will be hard to go there more than once every few months if it's a long trip like it is for us.

We were treated to a tour for a class of teachers. This includes a great explanation of the process of dairy farming as well as great antidotes and plenty of cow spotting. While it is smelly (it's a working farm), the charm, scenery, and finished product make up for it. Please try the milk (chocolate and plain). They also have a store full of their own creations (the cheese is great), and also other local fair. While we were walking around I saw many locals and tourists alike traipse into the store and make purchases. For good food, people, and cute cows you need to make visit to this special place!

We cruised out for a morning trip without taking the tour. Our young son enjoyed seeing the cows. The milk and cheese are very good and affordable. Check it out, just remember it's a working farm not an amusement park. This place is good for a 20 minute visit, but not an all day adventure.

A working organic dairy with a store for purchase of goods produced on the farm and more. Nice and cow smelly while we were there.
