Chaparral Ranch is a beautiful, relaxed place to ride. The scenery is beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their American Quarterhorses are well trained, happy horses--easy to ride. Shawn Mott, the owner, is a true California cowboy!

The best place to ride and learn to ride better. We've been addicted to it for several years already - Shawn is pretty amazing and his style of teaching is definitely effective to us. We have graduated to more interesting horses (King is great!) and it continues to be fun.And, their beach rides are of course pure magic.
