all that glitters

I recently moved to this area and I could hardly wait to shop the cool stores in San Francisco, and then I found All That Glitters. There is all this cool stuff right in my backyard. This is a small store. The owner, Isobel, has a fantastic eye for both antique jewelery and other small decorative items. The interior decor, window display and selection changes with the seasons and holidays. At Halloween/Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead selection was awesome. The last time I stopped by there was a lovely selection of silver and turquoise jewelery, antique and new Swarovski crystal strands, and Zuni Fetishes.Another time I visited and Isobel had some sort of princess them going on, but not in the 'D' way, there were crown themed pieces, jewels, wall art. Way in the back there are items for wedding and prom. There can also be a small collection of hats, a dress or scarf or two. Most of the items are unique, one of a kind, if you see it buy it. Street parking is usually available, be sure to pump those meters the B-Game Parking Crew is aggressive!!! This shop is easy on/easy off 101 at the Broadway exit. Store is handicap accessible. Not a good place for small children. Once you start looking you will not be able to keep watching little ones and this place is a visual and textural delight. This is a great place to keep checking, you will find something on every visit.
