The Sierra Nevada has many trees and among the most unique is the Bennet Juniper off the beaten path in Leland Meadows. Worth a day trip just to get out and see something of world-class proportions!

Get the kids, put on your snow cloths and start tubing. Leland meadows is a huge mountain to rent a tube and sled down. I went when I was a kid and now my kid goes. Great day trip for the family.
