I came here with my kids and found out the farm is closed to the public. From the parking lot and street you can see the farm and looks beautiful. I whish we could have gone inside.

Been in here off and on since it became an exhibition spot. No drop-ins-there are several interesting "do"s here each year, all similar, with an entry through magnificent stone gates, parking close by and greeters/docents on the ranch. It is fun to walk around and look at how the past ranching and farming occurred. Caution, drive slowly past to park, the street is narrow (country) Wish they opened the ranch up more to the public other than the pumpkin sales and shopping. My pick for pumpkins is the market so...I'd like to see additional activities here, as a local.

Fun pumpkin patch with a great narrated wagon ride, little zoo, ponies to ride, and giant hay pyramid to climb. Lots of out of towners during Halloween time.

We love bringing our kids here!!! Thousands of beautiful pumpkins (all varieties), pony rides, a train, hay pyramid, face painting, music, food, petting zoo and SHOPPING! Also a pumpkin launcher that the kids LOVE. We go every year -- I wouldn't miss it!

As someone who grew up on the east coat, I was spoiled with fall foliage and pumpkin patches and fresh apple cider at the edge of an orchard when the air turned lovely and crisp. Faulker Farms brings that all to life again! As an Angeleno, I enjoy the scenic drive back through time to what Southern California looked like back in the 20's and 30's--gorgeous rolling hills, ambitious oaks trees stretching to touch a robin's egg blue sky and miles of country dotted with quaint farm houses. Just about an hour out of the valley, Santa Paula is the perfect setting for a pumpkin patch. In addition to the pumpkins and a variety of interesting guards, they have lots of stuff for the kids to do: a giant haystack to climb up and jump down, a corn maze to "get lost" in, live farm animals to pet and ogle. For antique lovers, one of the barns has some thoughtfully edited collectibles for sale. For gardeners, the site also features a plant sale. You can take a tour of the lovely Victorian "farm house" mansion that the original owner built or take a hayride around the agricultural research area. There is a pumpkin launching trebuchet, live music and lots of yummy food. A highlight from last year was a traditional apple press that made the most delicious cider you'll find this side of Julian, CA. If it just seems wrong to kick off your Fall season shopping for a pumpkin in the middle of dense, city sprawl on a converted parking lot where you can see a gas station and smell the fumes of automobiles, then Faulkner Farms is just the daycation you need!

We have frequented Faulkner Farms for the last several years during the Fall Season. We arrive on weekends in October (only open on weekends) to romp through the pumpkin patch, through the sunflower maze, over the hay bales, a hay ride, a peek at the animals and sometimes take a pony ride, get face painting or take a mini train ride.We purchase corn stalks and pumpkins/gourds for decoration and some yummy apple pie, caramel apples or even tri-tip and chicken sandwiches!Nice to have somewhere to take the kiddies to mark Fall in the Ventura County area.
