I discovered Painted Earth about nine months ago...now I go so often that I buy their seasonal passes. My children and grandchildren love visiting me only because they know it will mean a visit to Painted Earth. My children kept saying they were not "artistic" but creating pottery and glass fusion is easy and fun. Love the staff!

Painted Earth is a great place for family and friends to relax, be inspired, and enjoy the music in the spacious studio while creating your own unique piece of art. No reservations or experience is needed. All the paint, brushes etc. are provided. The way it works is... You choose a piece from hundreds of items($4-60) then Design & Paint. There is a $6 studio Fee which covers all the paint, brushes, patterns, stencils & stamps you will need to make your project special. They also provide very knowledgeable friendly staff to help you with your creation. Once you are finished, they will glaze and fire your piece in their kiln which will make your piece dishwasher safe. Our daughter loves this place.. We have made many special occasion pieces for family and friends. (mugs, picture frames, plated & figurines). It is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening with your kids.Painted Earth also does Glass Fusing (taking different colored pieces of glass to make a pattern then fusing them together in the kiln) Cant wait to try this.
