motte historical museum

We stopped by here expecting to find it as we had in 2008 or 2009.When we last visited there was a small artisan product grocery market in the center,a wine tasting room,an incredible chocolate room and a food counter which served the most delicious roasted meats and other delectable goods.No trace remains of that delectable heyday.We came prepared to be fed and buy wines,cheeses,and crafts to take home.Today it is a nice local car museum but the docents weren't very helpful or welcoming. We attempted to eat at the chinese restaurant housed in the train cars next door but it was just too hot.What a shame more people didn't go there!

Nice museum. We enjoyed a personal tour of the facilities. The stories about each vehicle made the whole visit memorable. My only regret was that we hadn't stopped in sooner, we've been passing by for years. Would recommend this for any age.

This is a family owned museum and this family has been in the are for generations. They have put together a fantastic collection of cars and artifacts from the area. Sure, Menifee is a young city, but it still has a lot of history. It is worth hearing about it from the locals who can recount it firsthand.

we were on the way to Hemet to see family , and I always wanted to stop today the museum's schedule and mine were matched . Worth stopping into because it is worth stopping into.
