We first met these alpacas at the Cielo Estatea winery in the beautiful El Dorado Hills. They were on display for their warm beautiful coats. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and we admired her beautiful hats and sweaters made from the alpaca coats. We planned to visit the farm.We made a visit to the farm on Friday. The material is so soft. We purchased 3 hats and placed a special hat order. We made the trip to purchase these hats for a good reason. We are so glad we did. We put the hats on right then. Our heads are staying warm. We plan to purchase warm alpaca socks when we return to pick up the special hat order in about a week. If you've never seen an alpaca, you should take a trip.
