We stopped in on the way to dinner reservations elsewhere. My wife did a tasting and liked it enough to buy several bottles. The server couldn't have been nicer and I was happy to find a place that sold Whiskey Stix pretzels. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely stop here and enjoy the fire on the patio.

Terrible service! Wine was average in taste and price. Views were n/a as I went in the evening. They literally asked us to leave at 10:59 as we were still finishing our wine! They came to our table and said they needed our wine glasses and poured our wine into plastic cups!!!!!! They close at 11. I've never been asked to leave any restaurant while eating! Horrible staff. Will never return!

The. pond is very pretty with fish coming to the to the edge to say hello.However the staff was. less friendly & knew next to nothing. about the Reisling.served our tasting in little. plastic. cups .. Disgusting. way to showcase a wine...Silly tiny gift shop .. Not a worthwhile winery..

Only a short drive from Youngstown or Akron this winery is a nice visit. They have a nice tasting area and it can be fun on the weekends. The outdoor seating is nice with the vineyard in view. They offer snacks, not so much food, as I think this is a requirement when serving wine. The wines are average. The wines tend to be a bit sweet and depending on the varietals you prefer you may not like some. Keep in mind this is a local winery in N.E. Ohio so expecting them to have a full bodied California style red is rather silly. I'd say the sweet white wines are best but every year will vary. As far as the snacks go, I'd make sure you eat before you get there. Sometimes the entertainment can get loud and so can the locals! Its still a fun place to visit but not a Napa Valley near Berlin.

I visited and had a horrible experience. A staff member inside who waited on me was snotty and didn't act like she wanted to wait on me. Then, when I left, I stopped up at the front because someone I drove to the winery left something in my car. I stepped on two rocks to get through their flower bed to drop the item off because I was in a hurry and a staff member came over with a forced, rude smile and asked me not to walk through the gardening. She made a scene. I felt as though I was very careful and considerate and the staff was rude all evening.

Mastropietro Winery recently had a hot air balloon fest. Great idea and the balloon fest was fun to watch. However, someone forgot to plan for proper food and drink logistics. There were literally hundreds if not more than a thousand people and their was just one line for food and two lines for drink. People literally stood in line for an hour to place their food order then waited another hour or more to receive the food. The winery desperately needs an event planner because the fest concept was great but they should know everyone wants to eat and drink at these events but their planning was terrible.

I can't believe that I had never been here before. We went on a Friday night and it was beautiful. Sat outside, listen to some music, ate some delicious food from Rachel's, drank some Merlot and let the hectic week disappear. You will forget you are in NE Ohio will you sit amongst the vines and watch the sunset over the huge pond..... RELAX !

The scenery is wonderful with a lot of seating choices. It is a very relaxing place to sit and sip a glass of wine. The catered food is delicious - try the chicken and greens! A great place to visit in the fall also, they have gas fire pits to sit around. I look forward to coming back.

This is one of our favorite wineries. The grounds and setting are just beautiful, and relaxing. We have been there several times in summers and enjoy a pitcher of Sangria outside. With the lake right there it is so relaxing. The patio is very nice. This past Saturday we went and enjoyed a glass of wine, and cheese & crackers, by the roaring fireplace. People are always very friendly there. We will continue going there, so "comfy", and the atmosphere is very inviting. Also have enjoyed musical entertainment which was also fun ; )

Won't go back unless I hear they've greatly improved. Long wait just to get a glass of wine. Food and snack options overpriced and scanty. Wine is good, but I"ll buy it at the carryout If I want any.

Don't eat dinner there but everything else is great. They have an ou company come in and their food is just so,so! Eat elsewhere then go to the winery!

Do not go for any event They are not set up for . One line for food one line for wine and snacks one line for restroomsand they run out of glass ware. SO........ 1 hr and 10mins for the wine line and then NO pitchers for wine............And you had to pay $10.00 to wait in lines and could not get your money back

I'm usually a fan of sweeter wines, but I was surprised how much I liked all of their wines, including the dry ones.My favorite wines (ones that I actually purchased) were the Dolce Rosso (sweet) and the Chambourcin (a semi-dry).The winery itself looks a bit like a small castle (at least that's how it struck me). It is a very modern-looking building, which is what they were going for.If you're driving through, it's definitely worth a stop.

We went for the first time to the winery, the weather was fantastic the grounds were very nice. However will probably never attend an event there again. Only one food vendor with a line that never had an ending, and to get a drink of any kind, we waited for over an hour and a half in line and then tried to find a seat which was next to impossible. I think the management needs to rethink before the next event, big or small.

Love the atmosphere. Beautiful place . They have things going on that you can attend or just go out for an enjoyable evening.
