    这里的雪道很不错 尤其是各种小树林是特色。雪也比其他东北地方相对要好。这次最爽的道是the jet. 可以住在jay或者附近的Troy. 推荐!

We have been at Jay Peak many times in the past few years and, overall, we are very pleased. We have had many glorious days of skiing, however, we have also experienced quite sketchy conditions. Earlier this year, I noticed that many of the black rated runs were not being groomed which placed them outside my skiing comfort zone. The runs that were then left were very limited. I understand that early in the season, when little natural snow has fallen, there are limits that are not under the control of the resort. Note also that Jay can experience bitterly cold winds which can scour snow off runs and make some of them extremely hard and icy.We also sometimes experienced that some of the chairs were not running during weekdays in January. On these days, which were not windy, the resort had determined there was no need to run all chairs even though this limited access. My wife, who is an expert skier, loves the variety of the terrain and the many superb glade runs. Families with kids can always use the fantastic and popular water park.

Jay Peak is a great place to ski. Great terrain for intermediate to expert skiers. The new waterpark, hotels, indoor rink and restaurants make it ideal for families. There is always great snow and fun local people and pubs to find.

My child has been scarred for life from having to attend the jay peak daycare for infants and young children. Our child has expressed abusive and neglectful occurrences at this facility. I do not recommend bringing your child to this place. Ski all you want at Jay, take your children elsewhere for their safety and well being.

We spent 5 days at Jay Peak over February break and had a great time. We are a family of 6- we have 4 kids ages 7, 10 and 13. My 7 year olds took full day ski lessons for 2 days and we thought the lessons were great. The staff was very nice and the girls enjoyed it. The instructors were great about helping them when they were scared and by the end of the 2 days we were skiing the greens and occasional blue together. My husband also took several lessons while there because he is a beginner skier and thought his instructors were great as well. Even though it was vacation week the lines were relatively short and the crowds overall were not too bad. I was worried there wouldn't be enough green terrain looking at the maps and seeing that there are no green trails accessible from the top of the mountain but there were plenty of trails to keep us busy over 4 days of skiing by moving between the tramside and stateside. We also went to the waterpark on our last day. It was definitely busy because it was freezing outside but the kids had a blast. The wave pool is really cool. We stayed in the Golf and Mountain condos and loved it! Condo was well appointed and spacious with 3 floors. All in all we had a great time and would come back.

Our family visited Jay Peak Resort recently and what an absolute great place for the whole family to enjoy. Our kids had fun in snowboard school and the ice house

Great for fun but no control of the lazy river crazies and beyond getting in the door its not special needs/ disabled accessible. We did have fun overall. Just they still ahve some work to do.

I did not stay in any of the accommodations, however I did take a fantastic snowboarding lesson at the stateside lodge. My instructor was Graham and I would recommend his expertise to anyone who is attempting their first time on a board or anyone looking to hone their skills with an experienced rider. It was my first attempt at riding and he really made it a good experience for me. Not too serious and had great suggestions when I was struggling to comprehend certain things (including the magic carpet, ha!) I could tell that he enjoyed his job and that the other instructors did too, making it a really fun environment to learn in.

We stayed at the Jay Peak Resort the week after Christmas, mostly for the indoor water park. We thought maybe it would be too crowded because of vacation but surprisingly it wasn't too bad! There were plenty of lifeguards watching at all times, we felt safe knowing that our 7 and 10 year olds were in a heavily guarded pool. We used a locker to stash our belongings, at an additional cost. And spent lots of time at The Drink watching all the action below!

A very nice place to go in NE for skiing. It is not huge but big enough to keep you busy and entertained. The skiing was pretty good for NE and being in Dec. The resort did a great job of making the slopes skiable with a minimal about of snow. The water park is huge and fun for the kids. If the skiing is not much fun, the water park should be. Four big slides, a wave pool and small kiddy pool. The lazy river is fun. Jay VT is 1.5 hours from Montreal, Canada.

We tried Jay when they first opened the Hotel Jay, and didn't have a great experience. For some reason (marketing), we tried the Stateside Hotel recently and our experience was even worse. I attended college in VT when Jay was revered, but they have sold out. Jay now markets themselves better than no other. However, the result is a massive crowd of non-skiers, with no one to service them! They seem to be seeking high numbers, regardless of their interest in skiing. At the very same time we were there, other mountains were snow making top-to-bottom (I personally checked and drove by a few on the way home). Jay, on 1 bunny slope at the bottom (and they closed it for 3 days)! There were more or less 3 icy, thinly covered trails open top to bottom (Jay was about 1/4 open, while nearby competitors were open 50%-95%), which were strewn with struggling snow plowers. Even a trail near the bottom--needed to access the lift--was sheet ice covered (we watched several kids slide off the trail). Nothing was done about it, because no one who works there seemed to care. My guess is that there's a major disconnect between the marketing people, the management, and the employees. The employees seemed overwhelmed by the crowd that obviously just didn't randomly show up, and also seemed completely disinterested about everything. When a 9 mph wind kicked up, they closed most of the lifts. Guess what happened? Long lines. There were no aisles set up and no employees guiding skiers, so everyone just bunched up and it was a free for all. The restaurants (see other reviews)--the food was just above cafeteria quality, and the service was absolutely horrible. For such an expensive trip with the longest drive that you could possibly have (you can spit to Canada), this fell FAR SHORT of our reasonable expectations. I will never return, and suggest that you pick any other option--there are so many. If your kids get excited about the water park, read my review on that first--take them to Florida... or Conway, or Great Wolf, or anything not at Jay!!

A great family destination. Well set up for beginners and experienced skiers Alike. I would recommend it to other families

The check in was seamless, the staff were enthusiastic and very pleasant. Our room was perfect...large, with full kitchen, sofa bed, murphy bed, fireplace, 42" flatscreen and bedroom with the most comfortable pillow top king size bed ever covered in a fluffy duvet with its own closet and yet another 42" flatscreen tv. The view was of the mountain and the ski runs as well as the outdoor pool and hottub. This place has everything on site...NHL size indoor rink with rentals, waterpark, skiing, golf, restaurants, arcade, general store...they left no stone unturned here!

We took the cable car to the top, very reasonably priced at $10 round trip, $8 one way. The staff were very friendly at the resort and we got maps and good advice on the trails to hike down. The hike down was excellent, trails well marked and fabulous views.

Go, buy your one day pass, ski and get out of there! The place has gotten to big for it's own good. No central management, no customer service whatsoever, pricey but mediocre food, unbelievably terrible customer service, good looking but dirty accomodations...... and no employee really cares! They can build hotels and condos and waterparks but; if they don't hire the right people or, at least, train them; if the middle management doesn't really care because they got truckfulls of kids coming in; and if upper management doesn't take some control soon; this place is going down and quickly. And this review is coming from someone who has gone several times, always expecting a change for the better, but always getting the same..... apathy. My recomendation: Pay a little more and ski Stowe. Nice long runs, good food and a management that knows how to run a resort.
