Always love walking down to pier after dinner or during the day. Manatees are great fun to watch. Beautiful fountain at park nearby and great bike trail.

LOVE Safety Harbor - woke up early, wandered Main Street and got a cup of coffee and found myself at the pier just about day break - what a view, what a sunrise and what a town!

Not worth going out of the way for. Would have preferred to be there in a season when there are manatees to view.

If you want a beautiful picture of a pier during the sunrise this is the place to be in the early morning.

Almost every time we come here, we see dolphins or manatees, or both! I like how they opened up the waterfront to the public, it used to belong to the grounds of the hotel. Kayaking is now available too - we'll definitely come back!

The pier is well maintained, with a open shelter at the very end. It was fun watching Manatee and Rays swim, men catching Mullet with nets. There were some people fishing with rod and reel as well. The panoramic view of the surrounding water way and the city of Tampa is outstanding. Bring a camera. There are plenty of ways to capture your visit. The adjacent park has plenty of shade and picnic tables

On the bay, with the big trees full of Spanish moss beautiful. Had a coffee, starbucks then found great little shop Galleria around the corner from starbucks. Great place to visit.

The marina and pier are worth the visit when visiting the area. It seemed like a lot of locals go there for the fishing. We did catch 2 beautiful sunsets the both nights we were there. Stunning !

we walked thru Safety Harbor and came to the park and pier area and it's very well kept, the fountain and bench seating is really pretty, little boats to see in marina and saw a bunch of kayakers out and about. tide was low so pelicans were near pier seeing what they could get and lots of sea birds to watch and people fishing etc. boat slip handy and in use. all in all very pretty and nice. perfect time of year to go walk the town!

The only thing I cansay I disliked was getting blisters on my feet from walking around and having so much fun.

I visited the fishing pier and the adjacent shops on a Thursday afternoon in October. It was a little warm but the view from the pier is amazing. The sky was so blue and there are benches at the end of the pier where you can just sit and relax and look out over the water. Gorgeous little place. There are also some quaint little shops across the street and I enjoyed browsing through those as well.
