royal palm beach commons park

Nice park to come with family, cook out, throw a ball around, fly kites, just wish they would put in the dog park already.

I go to Commons Park a few times a week....it is a beautiful place to walk and exercise. It also has great playgrounds for kids and a beautiful "great lawn" to just relax and/or have a picnic.

We found this great free city park while going to one of their outdoor concerts. It is a relatively new park (2 years old), about 160 acres with lakes, walking/biking trails, picnic areas, disc golf, and they are building a dog park. Everything is lovely and well kept. There is also a 3 story sports center with a cafe, TVs and a quiet reading room. Regular concerts and events. Royal Palm Beach has done a great job developing this park. It is west of the FL Turnpike exit on Southern Blvd. Go west on Southern, turn right and go north on Royal Palm Beach Blvd. The park is on the right.
