Pace of play was terrible, Save your money.. We decided to have a bite to eat,. Food was cold and service wasn't any better. I agree with the previous review... Go to Heron Creek.

Played Bobcat after playing at Heron's Creek and what a disappointment! They do not stagger starting times so had to wait 5-10 minutes on every hole! Did not finish because of darkness, even though we started @ 1:30. Fairways and greens are not in great shape either. Pay the extra $10 for Heron's Creek!

Played on Jan. 28 And loved the layout of the course. Hit it straight and you can score. We all liked it and would play again. Greens are very fast and true. Best course that I have played in that area. Not as nice as Sarasota National golf course but is better than anything in that area. Paid $57.00 and for this course this time of year it was a bargain.

Played yesterday. New rate in the morning is $79.00 and not worth it. Gravelly traps, s Hells and stones abound used to be a very good Course , not A good course. Anymore Pardon the typos, damn that spell checking!

This part of the US is blessed with many great golf courses. Bobcat Trail does not have to hide behind any one of the other courses in this area. It offers great golf, good facilities and a lot of fun to play. Overall, the most impressive thing for us was the condition of the course in early January. This is why you come to Florida during the winter... Leave your buddies on the cold ski slopes and come here if you want to enjoy your post-christmas vacation!

This course has a very good reputation in the North Port/Englewood/Port Charlotte area so I was really looking forward to my round. I tried to pick a quiet day but it still turned out to be very crowded and, with no obvious activity from any marshals, it was unnecessarily slow. This spoilt the experience slightly but it was still an enjoyable round. The course is reasonably challenging but not as demanding - or as well kept - as I had been led to expect.

This course is very deceiving. Not long but the ball must be placed in the right locations or your score will ballon. Well kept and very friendly people.

A challenge for all levels. Plenty of sand and water. Staff is friendly and will assist if you need anything. Fairways are in excellent shape and greens are fast and fair. Not two are alike. A real challenge. Food is also outstanding. Everything is cooked fresh.

The course is really interesting but the bunkers are just ridiculous. deep with very little sand and rocks and pebbles. the pace of play was awful, we complained to rangers, but nothing improved. took over 5 hours for round of golf. might play it again but definitely not in season. I will ask if the bunkers have been fixed before I book a tee time. it could be a great course.

Been coming to this course for over a decade, but each year it seems progressively worse. Tee times are so close and unmanaged, at one point we had 4-foursomes on one hole. The course rangers/starters seem to be in a holding pattern and rather useless. Fairways and grass around greens are mostly weeds. The sand pits are gravel pits. Probably won't return

My wife and I played here earlier this summer summer, our third time on the course, in a benefit scramble tournament. Very well-maintained course and friendly, helpful staff. As noted by other reviewers, greens are VERY challenging with multiple tiers. A little pricey for regular play, but nice course to play once in a while.

Beautiful course and a great restaurant at the club house. Open late on Fridays for dinner with a pretty water view.

That is how they answer the telephone. Great shape open fairways and user friendly. Greens are tough and undulated. Try it out.

This is a well kept resort type course. The course is forgiving for the average hacker and well marked for yardage. Not the best course for golfers that like creativity in design and toughness. There is another course in town for that golfer, but for those looking for an enjoyable round of relaxing golf on a beautifully maintained course....this is your place.
