They charge you to walk on the pier. This seems very odd to me as it is attached to a city park. There's nothing ON the pier so not exactly sure what you pay for. I'll just stick to the beach!

Nice place to relax. Joins up with Hollywood walk way to Hollywood beach. Relax in the sand and watch the planes from FLL go over.

Nice pier. Good for breathing ocean air, fishing.$2.00 entrance fee, plus parking meters. We ate at the Quarterback Restaurant right by the pier. Very good food but very, very crowded. We waited an hr for a table. Sitting outside by the water next yo the pier was far superior yo the crowded indoor space - ice cold from a-c and noisy. Food was fine. Fish and and Japanese fare.

Can't say there are a lot of piers that I have been on that were not "good". I'm there for the view and not the fishing. This one has a restaurant that we intend to try before leaving. Lots of fishing guys and pelicans so fun to watch... was out there 3 times in one day just enjoying weather and view. For 2 bucks hard to beat.

A lot of people like coming out here for fishing. Great pier with amenities! Have to pay to fish on pier but worth it!

This was a great way to spend the day at the beach with the family. The 4 guys planned a few hours of fishing at the pier. It cost $5 a piece to get onto the pier which has a great view of the Florida coast from Fort Lauderdale down to Hollywood Beach. ($3 for pedestrians to get onto the pier.) The beach that runs on either side of the pier is very nice and is not as crowded as some of the more popular tourist destinations. My daughter-in-law, mother and I enjoyed the beach. On the pier is a casual restaurant that offers inside and outside dining with nice views. All i can say about the food is that the margaritas are good.

If you haven't visited Dania Beach Pier lately, you should check out the new bar/restaurant. Still the same stellar views and ocean commune but now with a Quarterdeck to grab a brew and a bite.Pelicans and fisherman alike vie for the same gift from the sea...and sometimes they both get lucky!

My meetings finished early, but there wasn't an option for an earlier flight home. Instead of sitting at the Fort Laud airport for four hours, I found this on the GPS. It's definitely better than a seat on the B concourse.Have lunch at the Quarterdeck. Friendly bartenders, a $14.95 whole lobster special, and a nice breeze on the outdoor patio.

So, you want to catch a Snook(in season of course), Yellowtail, or even sharks!? Dania Fishing Pier offers this opportunity for a very little cash. I love the smell of the ocean breezes, the chirping of the Gulls as they try to swoop down tosteal your bait, and the atmosphere of fisherman gathered to forget about the rest of the world.

The Dania Beach Fishing Pier is located at the north end of the parking area in Dania Beach Ocean Park. There is a live beach cam at http://daniabeachfl.gov/index.aspx?nid=1640 if you want to check it out before you go.The views in all directions are exceptional. The people fishing on the pier add to the overall show. It's a delightful place to watch folks interact with nature.Parking costs $1.75 an hour and a ticket to the pier is just a buck, three bucks if you want to fish. The City of Dania Beach runs the operation 7 days a week from 6:00AM to midnight. If you don't have a boat, it's a great way to get out on, or over, the water. It's a nice spot to take kids and visitors for an unobstructed look at the ocean, that's not hard on the wallet.
