My husband and I felt like we were driving out in the middle of nowhere to get here, but it was worth the trip. We had a great server and enjoyed our free wine tasting. If you like sweet wines, this is a great spot to hit - we bought 2 bottles!

This was a nice place, but 10 miles off the highway. Signage in was pretty good, but not going back out. The facility includes a tasting room, which was used as an entrance for the guests and then became the buffet later in the evening. A bridge connects a level spot across a stream and that's where the wedding ceremony was held - overlooking the stream and the grapevines. A large room in the building held the dinner and reception and the outdoor area was used for dancing later in the evening. The employees were helpful.

We live near Castle Finn Winery, in Paris, Illinois. Castle Finn Winery has a beautiful setting, and the building can accommodate large parties for special events. The owners are friendly, and although the wine is average, it is great to have a winery in this area when you want to relax with friends over a few glasses. Bring your own snacks, since they don't have food available. There is seating inside and outside on the porch.

Enjoyed all of the tasting wines. Great place for events, too. I especially enjoyed the cherry wine. Great as a dessert wine. Owner was so welcoming and no charge for the tasting! Thanks for opening up for us!

We were back in E. Central Illinois for my Mother's 90th birthday. We were cruising looking for interesting stuff to do and up came a sign for Castle Finn Winery. 5 miles off the main road, got to look close for some of those signs. It was officially closed on Monday but as we peered in the window the owner came out in his Carharts and opened up for us. We needed some wine to take to Harry and Buds restaurant later that day so we sampled away, happily. And left with several bottles.Long ago we used to have keg parties just down the road at "Castle Finn" where there was a cement slab/ford across the river. The winery is much more upscale than those former memories. Our class has thrown reunion parties at the winery but I missed those living in Montana.Great place, great owner, fun wine, tasting costs nothing.
