Stumbled on golf course and did not expect much. Robert Trent Jones design with awesome staff. Course was in great condition.

Robert Trent Jones design, some very good golf holes. Very nice staff, friendly. Tough holes are 2,10,11, is over six hundred yards with a creek in front of the green, and 17.

I recently played twice at the Hilldale golf club in Hoffman Estates Illinois. The course is kept in good condition from fairways to greens. Greens are good, smooth and fast for a public course. It has a Robert Trent Jr. design so it is not the longest of courses but does test your accruacy and shot selection. The price is the same no matter if you walk or ride so for me since I like to walk that was a negative. The rate after 3:00 was under $30 for 18 while the rate before 1:00 PM was $65. The first time I played there the course had good movement and the rangers were enforcing speedy play which is good as we finished our round in 4 1/2 hours so my recommendation would be very good. The second time I played there it was slower and it appeared rangers were not to be found. After the 7th hole a ranger did come by and asked how our play was and when we said slow he allowed us to skip 8 and 9 to avoid the slower groups and go straight to teh 10th hole which helped a lot with speed of play. Both times I was a single looking to hook up with another 2 someone or thress and both times they were very accomodating to me and I teed off within 30 minutes. The course maybe plays 6500 from back tees so if you are looking for a longer test this is not it. Also, the golf carts are outdated where they do not have GPS and mine died on me on the 16th hole so I needed to have another cart push me in. I do recommend this course to anyone who has not played it but believe there are better courses in the area to play for the money and experience.

結構、難しいコースでやりがいがあります。特に後半９ホールは水も多く、気をぬくとすぐにスコアが崩れます。プレー後は併設された日本食レストラン「日本館」で食事を楽しめます。

5月に行ってみました。気候は最高気温が28度、最低でも24度と暖かく、しかも湿度がない分過ごしやすい季節に訪れました。芝の状態は非常によく、自身のプレーができると思います。電動カートつきで$35と値段も安く、クラブハウスにはバーと日本食レストランがありました。（ただし、日本食の方は開いていませんでしたが・・・）
