Fun time with fun employees. Distillery isn't spectacular but the hooch is yummy. Crazy to think this little building produces all their booze. Definitely worth an hour of your life.

Evanston has a rich history and this is a fun hour to spend learning about some of it. Evanston's first distillery named in honor of France's E Willard, a major force in Temperance, offers some facts about Evanston's role in Prohibition, a few tidbits about how the 1893 World's Fair and how that relates, and a look into the art of distillation. Overall, entertaining. Not all of the facts were accurate, but close enough--unless you are a history buff! A tasting of about 8 spirits follows the distillery discussion. Nice choice for late afternoon. Buy tix in advance on website.
