Completely rude staff and "CEO/Owner." Laughed at our situation and time constraint, I would NEVER let my worst enemy go here.

Went for lunch during the week, service and food were both great. Beautiful restaurant overlooking the Ski slopes, even has a fireplace. The prices were VERY reasonable and a terrific value. They are open at 11:30 foe lunch, we shall return.

I have had many an enjoyable round on the Villa Olivia Golf Course and some rather unbelievable lies on the ski resort side of the course. That pleasure begins after hole ten and teases you until you cross the road to play three holes kept apart ( I think so not so many hear your frustrations) and returning to home you finish with a rather fun par 5 just don't go left or bring a goat and climbing gear. The restaurant and bar area are more than adequate and Sunday's and holidays they serve a reasonable and delicious buffet enjoy

the place sucks and they are to cheap to even put up the correct signs to the holes, tons of players get lost on the first hold going to the second, the place is a fn joke.......

Villa Olivia was recently taken over by the Bartlett Park District. The original owners were letting the place go. Kudos to the BPD! The improvements are gorgeous and the food is still awesome. The brunch is pricey, but is still our favorite.

We have gone here several times for golf. We have lucked out and the course has been relatively empty, which is great when you just want to get out and play. The skiing is nice for people who want to practice. I am not a big fan of the tow ropes, but overall it is a nice local place to go before heading out on the "real" slopes.

Good selection of food. Breakfast to lunch to omelets made to order. Service was very good. Family friendly environment. After we ate we were able to sit & relax and talk with out being rushed out. For about $16 per person a great value. Would definitely go back.

If there was anywhere else to go from the far western suburbs for tubing - this place would be out of business. After under going a massive renovation, honestly - I can see nothing of value that was added. The bartender, while a wonderful man, can only handle one order at a time and there's no urgency. Took group of 6 - 14 year olds on a beautiful Saturday night of fresh snow. 45 min wait with very few people on the slopes. $108 later, another $30 in really bad "ski slope" food, a latina graduation in the ballroom and I wish I had just taken them to an area park preserve.I (rarely) wonder why we don't head over to Villa Olivia more often. Oh yeah - now I remember.

Unless your children are a very young age-DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Only 2 people are allowed to go down the hill at a time and you spend most of your time waiting in line. THE WORST PLACE PEROID.

Took our children ages 4 and 6 for snow tubing. They enjoyed themselves the whole 2 hours. Ages 6 and up ride by themselves, 4-5 ride with a parent and are only $5. Check their website for prices and hours. They also have skiing/snowboarding and ski lessons, but tubing was what we came for. There is one tubing hill, but that didn't seem to matter today because it wasn't crowded. They also have a lift system that takes you to the top of the hill while you ride in your tube. The lodge has a snack bar with the basic snack bar foods. This isn't an extravagant ski area, but provided everything we needed for our snow activities.

Had a coupon for free appitizers for a party of 50. Everyone at the wedding raved about the amount served and the flavors.

we went here for mothers day and it was horrible. the place is so old looking and the food was cold and lacks variety. i hope that they redo it soon since it is not the 70s anymore.

Our boys wanted to go snowboarding for the first time; in Colorado. So, I thought we'd better try it out first locally, to see if they'd really enjoy it. We live just a few hours from many ski resorts in IL, WI and MI, but I heard about Villa Olivia on the news and it seemed to be a less intimidating starting point, and because it was closer we were able to go for the day without having the additional expense of an overnight stay. The fees seemed reasonable, compared to other places and there were group lessons available several times a day. We went on a Saturday, and arrived at about 10:30am. The parking was convenient to the "Ski Lodge" (the building where you buy tickets & get rental equipment.) The process to purchase slope tickets, and rent equipment was quick and easy. The Easy hills were right outside the door. There is food available on-site in the ski cafe, but we left the property for lunch. There are a lot of dining options in the area, all very easy to get to. You can leave your rented equipment in the ski lodge, for a $1 check fee. For the most part, we had a very enjoyable experience at Villa Olivia. The kids have asked to go back, and we would take them. One downside, is that it is not a great place for spectators. I was very disappointed that there wasn't anyplace to sit and view the slopes. I wasn't snowboarding, so I had planned to sit and read for the day. I assumed I'd be able to do that in a comfortable chair, and hoped to have a view that might allow me to see my boys pass by once in awhile. (I'm not a skier, so this may have been a very wrong assumption!) Regardless, having to sit in a banquet chair, at a round table for 10 in the ski cafe, with a view of the parking lot was a big disappointment.

Food was great, however, it is getting a little run down. Could use some upgrading.

If you're brand new to skiing, this is the place to go. I've only gone 2 times in my life so far and both times were here. They have a nice little lodge area where you can warm up and have some nice hot cocoa, then you can go skiing and snow-tubing down their different sized hills. I've never gone to the mountains obviously, but some of my friends that went with me to Villa Olivia have and they have said that if you can't handle the hills at VO, then don't waste your money traveling to Colorado or California to ski.
