the rusty bolt

The Rusty Bolt is three shops that have been opened in to one, and with lots of stuff filling all three parts. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering all sorts of information and answers to our questions, as well as emphathizing with our hotel woes. Running short on time we somewhat rushed through it, but still managed to have a good time chatting with the staff.

what a run down dive. The people working in the store were like they were put out because we were there. They need a better selection of t-shirts. Went over to the roadrunner across the street the guy was super friendly bought a few things then went over to the other store beside the rusty bolt and they were also very friendly and purchased 3 t-shirts. The Rusty Bolt needs to have better customer service and appreciate the people that walk into the store.

E' un negozio in cui trovi di tutto, dal bancomat alle targhe, passando per abbigliamento di gusto a poster e calamite da frigo...insomma di tutto un po'! La ragazza che era alla cassa è stata gentilissima e simpatica. Secondo me merita una visita, vedrete che non uscirete a mani vuote, anche perché è tutta merce di buon gusto.

Несомненно "Ржавый болт" привлекает к себе внимание обилием художественно расставленных и наряженных манекенов. Сначала не очень понимаешь - что это за здание. Но это магазинчик-музей. Как и во многих окрестных магазинчиках большой выбор сувениров, футболок и старинного барахла 50х-60х годов, когда дорога 66 была артерией, связывающей восток и запад. В любом случае стоит сюда зайти.

C'est une boutique de souvenirs anachronique! Style très ''kitch'', années 60 voir 50...Déco très particulière, surtout l'extérieur... Et on trouve de tout ! les patrons sont sympas, et offrent même le café! j'ai adoré !

É uma lojinha de souvenirs de Rota 66 e Estados Unidos bem legal. Tem muita coisa boa, mas tem que procurar bem, pois nem todas são muito baratas.

en face du road runner ......comment rater cette autre boutique de souvenirs a la décoration exterieure surrealiste. l interieure n est pas mal non plus un bric a brac, mais bien rangé.on y trouve de tout , et les vielles bagnoles dehors sont sympa .passage incontournable a seligman a voir comme tout le reste ....aux USA...

Uma simpática loja de souvenirs na rota 66. Tem um bom atendimento e ainda ganhamos uma carteirinha presente : "Official Route 66 License".

Une autre boutique typique, on y trouve plein de souvenirs de la 66 et des US à se ramener. La déco extérieure est tout simplement géniale! Avec le Hackberry General Store à Hackberry non loin, et le gift shop Delgadillo's, The Rusty Bolt Store reste un incontournable de la 66, un passage obligé...........

Kommt man nach Seligman, dann fühlt man sich um Jahrzehnte zurückversetzt, genauer gesagt in die späten 50-er und frühen 60-er Jahre - und der kleine Ort an der Route 66 pflegt dieses Image. Hier scheint die Uhr stehengeblieben zu sein - alte Motels, nostalgische Tankstellen, überladene Sourvirshops und kleine Restaurants und Cafés.Vor dem Souvenirshop "Rusty Bolt" stehen mindestens zehn Biker mit ihren Harleys und staunen über die lebensgroßen Schaufensterpuppen vor dem Geschäft, auf dem Dach und in den Fenstern. Eine Puppe schaut Marylin Monroe ähnlich, eine andere Elivs Prlesley. Vor dem Laden "parkt" wahrscheinlich seit vielen Jahren ein pinkfarbener Oldtimer. Auch neben dem Geschäft entdeckt man alte Autos aus den 50er-Jahren. Unter einem alten Pickup liegt die Puppe eines Mechanikers, es schaut wirklcih lebensecht aus.Betritt man den Laden, dann wird man von einem lebensgroßen Kellner begrüßt. Das "Rusty Bolt" bietet ein wahres Sammelsurium an Souvenirs. Die Biker kaufen in der Zwischenzeit fleißig ein, alle möglichen Route 66-Souvenirs, Sticker, Blechschilder, Lederjacken, T-Shirts, Bikerstiefeln, Ansichtskarten, Taschen etc. Ich wundere mich, wie sie das alles auf ihren Maschinen unterbringen.Auch wir mischen uns unter die Besucher, kaufen ebenfalls Andenken. Hier bekommt man wirklich alles, was das Herz eines nostalgischen Route 66-Fans wünscht. Schade, dass unsere Koffer nur noch beschränkt aufnahmefähig sind.
