Quaint place is perfect for a quiet walk, family fun time, school field trip, Wedding and reception, and so much more. I think of this as our best kept secret! The staff are friendly. Kathy Tucker is an excellent educational trainer and teacher LOVE her workshops/training. Kids can't wait to go to "the garden" for an exiting adventure. Our very own little slice of the past in the middle of a Major University campus. It has it all! Weddings and receptions held here are lovely and enchanting.

Very attractive hundred year old farmstead and garden set right in a modern university. A farmhouse, barn, and schoolhouse surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens of plants and flowers of the local area. This creates a great contrast with the bustling campus hidden behind the trees.

This is a garden with 200 fairy tales and lights for kids . free entry.start 5/12/2014 - 04/01/2015. from 7pm -10pm. and then in side palace is also a very big place for kids to play. there is also attraction for adults like lots of eating places , cinemas, and if you want to gamble to.

This garden is a true reflection of the plant life of the area, set out to best advantage. It's both educational and historical, and it offers a wonderful venue for events. Well worth a visit pretty much year round.

The grounds at the garden are so beautiful any time of the year. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer questions. The grounds are so well kept and at least once a year they have a fund raiser where they sell beautiful plants.

My wife and I were married on the grounds and loved everything about the place. The facility is very well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. The covered pavilion was perfect for our event and we could not have been more pleased with the setting. It would be a great place to spend a quiet afternoon looking at all the flowers and the old buildings. If I can also recommend, go to the wine or Beer Tasting. The wine tasting is in the spring and the beer tasting is in the fall and they were both excellent. The staff really outdid themselves for both events. Lastly, after our wedding, we were signed up to receive their newsletter and they even offer many classes which look very interesting.

We visited the GSU Botanical gardens on Feb. 21 so not much was blooming except the camelias and pansies but it is a lovely garden. I'm sure it must be gorgeous in April & May. We especially enjoyed the history of the Bland family, whose farm it was, and the rural life history of farming in Georgia, via historical displays in the large barn. The gardens are worth a stop and an hour if you are in the area. (There was no fee when we were there - no staffing at all - but I read the entrance fee is $1.00 so this is a definite bargain.)
