Went for a day trip here to check out the campground. This is a beautiful, peaceful park. The sites are clean, large, spacious! Most have lake views!! Can't wait to camp here!

Quick trip to get the state park's geocache. Nice lake and clean facilities. Picnic area and playground near the lake--lots of basking turtles.

It is a great get away. Relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Take what you need. There aren't many places around to go shopping. Not many campers.

Visit to Hamburg State Park was not what we had hoped. We were one of the two families there and never saw a staff member. We were disappointed in our stay.

The brochure on this park looked interesting, so we ventured there. We went in March and all the facilities were closed. This meant no bathrooms so we didn't stay long. If fishing is your thing, then you're in luck. The campgrounds were deserted and the cottages were closed. We did have a picnic by the river and walked down a short trail, but no big highlights for our trip there. There is an old grist mill for a backdrop for pictures. Maybe a different season would have yielded more opportunities.

Small primitive park! This is a great non-commerical park! Great Lake for fishing, good accompdations, clean and family friendly!

We've camped here a couple of times. There is one loop with most sites being on the lake. There is no swimming allowed, but you can go fishing or rent a pedal boat. There is a large playground and level grassy area for recreation. We saw the mill running on one visit and purchased some of the corn meal. It is a quiet campground. If you call the office, you can request a specfic site and if possible they will hold it for your arrival. Nice people in the office & hosting.

Westayed at Hamburg State Park a little over a year ago. The park is clean and well kept, campsites are average. The historic grist mill is a great photo opportunity and I have several pictures framed in my house. This is a good rv stop if you are passing through but not a lot of atmosphere for extended stay.
