quail country plantation

Grew up near here and have hunted and fished all over this place. Great staff and fun place to enjoy some backwood southern hospitality.

As head of a large textile company I have entertained guests at most of the quail plantations in the southeast. Without a doubt Quail Country is tops for birds, dogs, friendly, service with a gorgeous atmosphere. Enjoy Quail Country so much that I take my three boys for a special father/son weekend every year. What an amazing trip I had with my father and family friend at Quail Country. I can not give them anything but 5 stars. The the hospitality we received from all the staff was second to none. Stewart our guide had on on point all the time. He really knew the dogs and birds really well. We hunted two days and got to see about half the property and the different tracks of land. The land was well kept which made it nice to walk through. We hunted behind 4 or 5 different dogs all of which did a great job finding birds. The flushing dog were a blast to watch. If your looking for a great place to hunt with lots of birds, super nice accommodations, and just a great atmosphere look no farther than Quail Country.

I have had the opportunity to hunt a number of the Quail plantations in South Georgia, and Quail Country is the only one I have returned on 4 or 5 occasions over the last few years. Doc his staff are the perfect balance between high touch and comfortable. Guides, dogs, jeeps, land, accommodation and the food are are all well worth the trip. Look forward to next time!
