Not a major attraction but if you are in the vicinity it is well worth popping in, you might even see a wedding!Nice building with Art Gallery and nice views from the top. Can see it all within half an hour.

The castle is only small and you can walk round it in less than half an hour, but we took our time and walked down to the port which again is only small but the sun was shinning, the sound of the sea in the background made it a perfect day.

If you are in Roquetas de Mar, you just have to see. Nice tiny castle with few cannons and big tower dominates the coast of Roquetas. Don't expect long visit, you can see all in 10 minutes.

Lovely castle and we went right to the top. There are a few exhibitions and canons outside. There was also a wedding on that day.

Great views of the bay etc., but not so large that it will keep you interested for more than 30 minutes

Visited here after walking to the port. There was an artist exhibition on which showed some nice paintings also there was some good views and an area where there was some interesting local area information which I didn't know. Also was a nice shelter from the sun on a very hot day.

I have not been inside the castle itself, one can also walk around it as there is a park on one side and the boulevard goes between the sea and the castle. It has been restored to perfection, maybe it is better now than it has been when it was newly built.

A very picturesque location and a perfect end to a leisurely walk along the promenade of Roquetas de Mar. Extensively rebuilt and refurbished the castle offers an ideal picnic location or a photo shoot with truly beautiful views from within and without. Complimented by regular exhibitions and events the site makes an excellent location both by day and evening. Highly recommend.

Rebuilt fairly recently and in good condition. Entrance is free and there are often exhibitions on. The view from the top of the Castillo is worth the climb.

Well mantained castle with beautiful views of the coastline. Free entery inside the castle which is very well kept. Lots of interesting artwork and historical information and artefacts about Roquetas.Worth a visit and only a short walk from the main hotels.Kids will be bored though as it is for adults...unless your kids are ready for going to Oxford.
