We visited Spain to see my cousin and her partner, and they took us to Majacar. What a fabulous place. Picturesque town with lovely little shops and the most fantastic views from the cafes on the terrace. We returned again later in the week and I could have spent all evening looking at the fabulous scenery. A definite 'must visit' if you're in the area.

This may be the hub of the village as the local bus stops nearby although a bit of a climb to the square and it is not too far from the car parks although again a climb but you can take the new free lift opened in summer 2014 and approach the square via the narrow streets. The square is surrounded by local shops and bars and restaurants and you can enjoy the view while having a drink in one of these, whose tables are set out on the large viewing platform. You really can see for miles and miles both down the coast and across to distant villages and the mountains on the far horizon. Great spot for photos. Several times during the summer months you will find entertainment going on there to celebrate local Saint days. Toilets are available under the platform near the police station!

This is one of the main hang out spots in Mojacar with a raised up marble observation deck looking towards the mountains. There's a wheelchair ramp although it's a bit small. The left and right parts of the deck are taken up with the tables of the two cafe's on either side with a free bit in the middle. Mojacar wants to make a good impression by serenading tourists in the evening with trad spanish entertainers; guitarists, flamenco dancers and whatnot. Definitely an effort to make the place live up to a visitor's expectations. Big range of people hanging out - young, old, families, couples.

This square came alive at night its surrounded by restaurants with roof terraces and on 30/7 there was a spannish guitarist and some flamenco dancers, great for some free spannish entertainment on a balmy summer's night.

Lovely plaza surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants, all good value for money. Entertainment most nights through peak season and vey family friendly, can't wait to return.

Plaza Nueva находится в 3 минутах пешком от церкви Iglesia de Santa María. На Plaza Nueva расположена смотровая площадка города Mojacar, маленькая часовня La Ermita, несколько ресторанчиков, кафе, баров и сувенирных магазинов — они жмутся друг к дружке по периметру этой небольшой площади... Столики ресторанов расположены прямо на этой смотровой площадке с красивым панорамным видом на долину и морское побережье...

Mojacar pueblo tiene un encanto especial. Es precioso, y en su plaza se pueden disfrutar de una maravillosas vistas.

Arquitectónicamente es una plaza andaluza normal, su encanto radica en que desde las terrazas tiene unas vistas dela costa de Almería y de la campiña, impresionantes.

la plaza nueva nos ha sorprendido bastante, en cuanto las macetas y la vegetacion plantada crezca un poco sera mucho mas bonita de visitar, no obstante no te la pierdas
