I love the country park ,best place if you have a dog but for me I just love to go there with a friend and walk all round it and admire the stunning views , if there is a thunderstorm the country park is the best place to enjoy it

It is what it is, what ever the weather, Cliff top views. Great for Dog walkers. You can let them run loose.

Beautiful walk - lots of birds spotted! Bit muddy in January and some of the paths closed due to land slides. Very peaceful and quiet though :)

Our UK house is right on the edge of this Country Park and we just consider ourselves so lucky. The walks are so varied, colourful and uplifting, with the coastal path probably being the most spectacular walk in the South of England if not the UK. If you enjoy walking this is an absolute must! Bias, because we live here? Maybe, but we never tire of the scenery that is constantly changing with the seasons against the magnificent backdrop of the sea. Also if you get a chance venture inland to North's Seat, past Fairlight Hall heading towards Pett - superb walk.

A beautiful spot for hiking along the cliffs. The landscape was full of colours when we visited the park late November. It was a bit muddy from time to time, so hiking shoes could be recommended after a period of rainfall to have a good grip in the mud.

Such an amazing view of the countryside around you. A view of Dungeness Power Station and the wind farm alone the coast are very clear from one of the paths. Wandering down to the old quarry is fun to explore for the littler ones. Some of the paths are very steep, so be prepared to climb back up if you go down.Great wanderings for the family and the dogs.

It is a well looked after green space that is great for sea views & walking the dogs. Very muddy in wet weather though!

You will need more than a day to see it all! Visit Coastgaurd Lane for fantastic views. On a clearday you can see the lightsof Calais. Just sit andview. Brilliant.

WE set off in sunshine, got soaked a number of times but had a very pleasant walk through the park. We did the coastal section first, (a section was closed due to land slip) and the signs were very helpful.

This is dog heaven so if you like walking and/or dogs it's the place to go. Sublime views over the sea, the walking isn't too onerous, although it does go up and down a lot, and there is disabled access for some of the park. It gets a bit slippy in the winter but is still accessible on the Firehills. On a good day you wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world, often you can hear nothing except the birds. Free entry - £2 parking all day. Tea rooms on the Firehills.

Based ourselves in Hastings Touring Park, recommended by the wardens who gave us a local map . An excellent area for superb cliff and field walks down to Fairlight and found the pub The Cove, excellent footpaths to and from the campsite.

If you are in this beautiful area of east sussex then you must check out the hastings Country Park known as The Firehills. The views are just amazing! One way you look towards Pett, Rye, Camber Sands, Dungeness and the white cliffs of Dover, out to sea on a clear day and at night you can see France and in the other direction you look out towards Eastbourne. Lovely cafe nearbyy with delicious cakes. A real walkers paradise
