This was our second visit to Mercedes World at Brooklands, having been a couple of years ago, when a passenger ride in an SLS AMG provided the smiles. This time, an AMG half day experience was our entertainment. This involved three hours of driving. The focus is on handling and using all the features of the Merc road cars, including driving on the handling circuits, acceleration and braking tests and the skid pan for some opposite lock action. 560 bhp under your right foot calls for some concentration! We also had the chance to try the off road experience which was slower but equally challenging, with almost vertical climbs and drops, water hazards etc.Our instructor, Andy, was great, very encouraging, calm and really helped us get the most from the cars and our experience. We had a terrific day in great cars. Die beste tag.

I visited mercedes world with my husband and 14 year old daughter on a sunday.I was gobsmacked at how huge this place is and also a car sales garage. We went on the passenger ride £45 for the 3 of us in an E63 this was geeat and we all loved it, scary at times lol the driver was very friendly and relaxed chatting away while driving over 100mphWe will be returning here when on our next family visit.

Great fun! Staff were excellent. Lots to do for the whole family even if not driving. I look forward to going again :)

I'd planned a visit to MB World, but only thought about booking the Passenger Ride Experience when I got there. All the staff, from the bottom to the top, were absolutely brilliant. Very professional yet friendly. The driving experience was awesome and I'd strongly recommend to anyone who wants to wear a smile for the rest of the day! The museum-cum-showroom is beautifully laid out (and free), everywhere is spotlessly clean and it is in a beautiful and historic setting.

The museum/showroom is engaging. The instructors on the driving experience encourage you to push your boundaries responsibly. Little children can get a go on tiny electric cars.

There is a huge variety of things to see and the best part is there is no admission charge. The restaurant on the top floor is good but could benefit from more staff during busy periods.

This place was a joy to go round we loved it, I would have paid to get it but it was free. It was so nice walking round, staff are helpful, we found the place very interesting would defo go back.

We visited just today and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff were friendly and knowledgable, especially Wendy whom we had a lovely conversation with regarding Lewis Hamilton and future events being held at the venue. We entered a competition to win a drive with the silver arrows and we won which was completely unexpected but made the day even more special. The day was incredibly fun, interesting and well worth the visit. We couldn't believe it was free to get in. This was our first visit but we are sure to return.

Attended during half term. Organisation was terrible, food prices sky high (try £7 for a panini), dismal service (quoted 20 minutes for panini) and poorly trained staff. The whole experience had a distinctly downmarket conveyor belt feeling about it. We turned up in good time for our experience but they didn't get their act together and we started late, time which was not made up at the end.

My son (a qualified driver for just 18 months) was booked on a Winter Driving Experience which included a video of his time in the car. Having arrived in plenty of time we had a drink from the cafe which was priced similarly to most high street chains, although we didn't eat the food looked good and smelt better. All the staff from the cafe to reception to the instructor were friendly, polite and helpful and very apologetic when Jacks start time was delayed slightly. He started in a B class and then swapped to a 200slk halfway through which was the highlight for someone who normally drives a peugeot 206. This lesson was designed to show what the limits are in bad weather and how to avoid exceeding them and delivered in full and I'd recommend this to anyone with a new driver in the family, not cheap but will almost certainly pay dividends in future winters. As well as the driving there are demonstrations by professional drivers during the day and the opportunity to be driven at high speed by those drivers (for a fee). The centre has a showroom to look around, a museum with some beautiful cars including four formula one cars from Mercedes,McLaren and Force India a shop and Bistro.Probably better for the petrol head than the casual visitor but we had a good time and the smile on sons face told the story. The Brooklands racing circuit is over the road as well and could help make this a full day for an enthusiast.

I bought my boyfriend an AMG passenger ride for Christmas, we chose to spend a whole Sunday afternoon looking around at the cars as well as his ride. You can't really fault this place as it's free, we enjoyed looking round and he loved his passenger ride.I looked at the food options online and since it looked overpriced we bought food in M&S down the road and ate in the car.

A great place to visit but spoilt due to the large number of small children being left to run riot or screaming and crying about the place and who thought of the bright idea of allowing children to drive cars and 4x4s around the test tracks. Really think this whole venue should be restricted to adults only and not turned into a giant playground for the under eights. On previous visits the cars were unlocked and one was able to get a full appreciation of them. However I now understand that due to children (and some adults) causing damage (and in some cases wilful vandalism/theft) they are now kept locked which is very disappointing for the genuine enthusiast. Perhaps an admission charge might resolve some of these issusesAnd then there is the coffee bar on the ground floor which left a lot to be desired both in terms of organisation and the quality of the food and drink offered i.e. bland and boring sandwiches and a selection of cakes that tasted like cardboard. Surely a German Inspired operation that is based upon the perception of quality and excellence can do better than this.

Booked my 15yr old son the road vs off road driving experience. What a brilliant day. My son had a fantastic time driving a Mercedes A Class around a course, which he absolutely loved. Then he hopped into 4x4 for the second part of his experience. The off road course is brilliant with different challenges such as driving up the stairs, through deep water and rough terrain. I have the whole driving experience recorded onto a USB for a extra £30. With the experience you get a drivers log, which the instructor fills in with feedback. Mercedes world is brilliant! Great facilities like a cinema, driving simulators which are all free!! The cafe has yummy chocolate brownies. Food is a reasonable price. All round great day out! Will be going back in the summer!

Visited because we stayed in hotel next door. The facilities were great, e.g. toilets. The restaurant/cafe was well stocked and packed out. The viewing of the track was easy as there are loads of windows. I thought I'd get more chance to sit in some of the cars they sell though. They are quite keen for you not to touch the majority of cars. There are some areas for children such as 3-5 year old driving little cars (the women working on this were patient and caring! ) and older children were given simulation of a race. £6 per session for the above is overpriced however. I enjoyed the rather expensive 2 visits anyway. Something different to the usual.

Went for a driving experience for my 13 yr old, which was fantastic. However the viewing area for the 4x4 course is about 1/2 mile down the road, which due to the weather meant my wife got soaked and actually missed his drive.
