我很喜欢这家逼真的博物馆。我们了解到很多关于维多利亚城镇的生活,在茶室里花费的是先令和便士,观看了炼铁和蜡烛制造的过程。我的太太甚至订做了“四支蜡烛”,那个工匠给准备好了,并且提供了叉柄!(他根本没有感到意外)。在这里很快就能度过三个小时,因为有很多老店铺可以逛,而且能和员工聊天了解那时的生活。对孩子和大人都很适合。

来这里看看那么多年前人们如何生活,如何处理问题是挺不错的。这里有很多商店,工作人员很乐于助人,非常乐意跟客人聊聊关于维多利亚镇的历史。我一定会再回来看看的。

维多利亚村之行真的非常美妙。真的能让你仿佛置身于过去。这里很好的保存得很好。休闲时可以到处逛逛。这里所有的商店或机构都有穿着维多利亚时期服装的当地居民,因此,他们知道的很多,也很乐意与你讨论有关维多利亚时期的历史。值得一去。

过了15年了,我又再次来了,提高了不少,适合各个年龄的人来,周二还是不错的,不是高峰期,大部分景点都营业的,导游和工作人员都很友好,有礼貌。有些建筑不太明显,所以不要错过了,每个都很不错的。万圣节和圣诞节要来啦!

这里很容易找到,有很多可玩的地方,这里的志愿者都非常友好,而且很乐于助人。提供给残疾人的路口很方便,勾起了我对87岁老父亲许多的回忆。我们到这里的时候,正遇上博物馆里在举行校园聚会,不过那里空间很大,因此并不是什么困扰。咖啡馆里的食物品质很好,而且价格合理。

We had not been to Blists Hill for about six years, so when a travel zoo item popped up in my inbox. I was £19 for entry and fish and chips lunch. As it is quite expensive to visit we thought this was a bargain.We saw new shops that had opened, and a beautiful new entrance. All the staff were happy to talk about the buildings and the work that they were doing. You are able to buy all sorts of things from the shops. As well as the chippy, you can buy bread cake and parkin and short bread from the bakery. Pasty and pies from the butcher's. Ribbons from the haberdashery.The day we went there was also a sing along in the pub.It was the last weekend in the winter season, so by now there will be more buildings open and they will be open later.We had such a good day we came home and bought another voucher. We are going back for St George's day. In the summer there are special events on. Including a village wedding.

Visit Blists Hill Victoria Town and go back in time.The Victorian school with the pupils in the schoolroom doing there lessons on slates with chalk,wander in the houses and see how they lived and worked.A wonderful nostalgic day out.Buy goods in the authentic shops and take tea in the large tea rooms.

It was a nice sunny day and we had a great time much enhanced by the enthusiasm of some of the staff particularly in the bank chemist shops iron foundry and candlemakers . The insight they gave us was brilliant. The area is nicely set out with pleasant walks as well as places of interest. There are a coup,e of cafes and also a great fish and chip shop so no need for a picnic. Would visit again for sure.

This is the main attraction of the Ironbridge Gorge museums, it is similar to the Black Country Museum You enjoy a stroll round the village bringing back memories, Stop at the pub for a beer, or fish and chips or a biscuit from the bakers if you are hungryWalk down the hill to the foundry the old school and the Victorian fairgroundIn this area you will find a cafe and toiletsCarry on to the electric funicular railway to the top of the hill (saves you a steep climb back up the hill)Turn right to see the "Hay Inclined Plane" a canal boat lift systemThen walk back along the canal to the other part of the town looking at the steam railway oppositeCarry on down a hill to the shops and the end of your tourTake a camera and talk to the people dressed in character, they are happy to have their photographs taken (especially Martin the printer whose photos are exhibited in every camera club in Shropshire)If you are reasonable local to the area buy a passport to see all the sites, it is not that much extra and very good value

Had an amazing day, wish we'd got there earlier. Didn't take the daughter so perfect excuse to go again.Fascinating look into Victorian life and without doubt what sets this place apart is the staff who take you back in time - no artificial waxworks here! They are so enthusiastic and interesting! From the start at the bank right down to the little peasant house at the bottom, each staff had a story to tell, they made this great place amazing and I can't wait to go back and take my little girl who I'm sure will love it as much as I did.Thanks for a superb day!

Fascinating insight into Victorian life. A very good day out, lots to do and see. Lots of people dressed in Victorian costume, shops selling Victorian goods, with people working in them who were able to give lots of information and anecdotes about those times.

A bit quiet in March but enjoyed the visit and still worthwhile. The sing a long in the pub was fun and the 2 performers excellent. The staff were very helpful and informative throughout the town.

A big thank you to the local bobby who also doubles up as the pub pianist, together with the resident singer in helping make my mum's birthday memorable. They played and sang a selection of music together with a happy birthday rendition. Our party of four ranged in age from a 25 year old to an 82 year old, we all agreed that we had a super day although the weather could have been kinder.

We visited Blists in February which we were quite worried how the weather was going to effect our trip. We needn't have worried as the day was fine and also there were plenty of places to visit inside and have some refreshments. We visited with my husbands elderly mother who needed a wheelchair-Blists have 5 that you can borrow for a returnable £5.00 deposit. Although the village was steep in some places you could get a lift back on the lift at the bottom of the village. The lift took you to a flat walk (which was quite pleasant) all the way back to near the entrance.We really enjoyed dressing the part of Victorians at the Photographers and had our picture taken which was good value for £15.00 as you could all dress up and there were three of us.We really enjoyed our visit and thoroughly recommend it,if you haven't enjoyed this experience do give it a go.
