I love going too zoos and see the animals. Very well taken care off, not expensive fee for entering the zoo. I will come back when possible.

The best zoo in the east european region. I visited Izmir zoo 3 years ago and this one is better. Many reptiles, monkeys, snakes and other exotic animals and fishes are exhibited. This zoo was rebuilt two years ago with the help of European Union. There are some bears and wolves, deers, emu, lions, tigers and many birds. The space is wide with clean sidewalks, and the best safety barriers.Don't forget to bring something to eat or drink, because inside there is no restaurant or other shops. There are some shops near the entrance from where you can buy something to eat or drink.

Great zoo, much better than the one in Bucharest! Although a bit smaller, it is very well built and organised, the cages are transparent (even the animal's sleeping grounds allow great visbility), so that if you go later in the afternoon you can still see smth. Very happy animals, clearly well looked after, on one of our visits we saw that both the lions and the tigers had cubs, as far as I know big cats don't procreate unless really comfortable and feel safe. You can touch the deer and lamas. They have cangaroos and coati, reptiles and all sorts of lovely animals! My son loves to feed the rabbits and the foxes. The entrance fee is close to nothing, which is also why we visit every chance we get, even if we feel like taking a walk, it sure beats the park! THere is a children's park and a picnic area, but you have to bring your own food and usually there is some birthday going on in that space. Check it out, you'll have a blast!
