Great 360 degree viewpoint of Protaras from the beach hotels and sea to the farms and country lanes. Very well maintained.

This beautiful church is part of our Cypriot culture, you will discover similar churches all around Cyprus! If you want to learn a little bit more about us and Cypriot history then this church is a must visit!

The stairs going down are a bit scary but it's worth a quick visit. A diving site for sure but be mindful of the tides and time of day you decide to jump in. Sunset or Sunrise photography is perfect.

Nice place to walk up and see the bay from high up.You can see right down to Figtree bay and as far a Famagusta. Nice little Cafe at the bottom if you are in need of a drink.

I decided to walk up to the church as I had been told how great the views are and I wanted to put some ribbon on the memory tree as I lost my dad a few months before .its very touching to read everybody's memory's of loved ones The views are fantastic from the top the steps were quite steep the last 15 or so are the worst there is a little shop at top which sells ribbon and bottles of water would recommend a visit

Set on one of the highest points in protarus it's well worth the effort to climb the stairs for the views alone. But take time to look inside the chapel the artwork is exceptional and remember to look up at the ceiling before you go outside and tie a ribbon or any piece of cloth with a message or a name on it to the branches of the trees to remember loved ones who have sadly passed.

This is a stunning church. It looks quite intimidating when you see all the steps up to it but, I promise it is well worth it for the spectacular views. They have recently added a shop which sells juice and water beside the church as well as the shop down at the bottom which sells ribbons to wrap around the "wishing trees" next to it. The stairs are a great workout.

This is a lovely little Church. Well worth the climb for the great views of Protaras. Do not go mid-day if it is hot unless you are very fit !!

We got married in the beautiful gardens of this lovely little chapel...a very special place. There are a lot of steps up to the church, but even if its hot you must make the effort as it is lovely and has amazing views of Protaras.

But very little else to justify the climb, anybody suffering with heart or breathing problems should not attempt to go up on a hot day!

beautiful little church. Ribbons tied to trees and rocks in memory of loved ones. Go early morning when the temperature is easier for the climbing of steps.

Easy to find from where we stayed at the Odessa. A few steps up the road and it can be seen. Take water! We were glad of the bottles of water we stuffed into my bag! Hundreds of steps up to it. But such a beautiful church and such stunning views. Don't forget your camera!
