Yia-Mas is the place to go. George is very welcoming, especially when we said we would sing as this was end of season and there weren't many volunteers! There is a book of songs to choose from but best just write it down, George found every song we wanted to sing and we did sing quite a few! went back 2 days later and he remembered them, The sound system and wander mics are good, better than the Love Boat which, like many we have sung in, just sounds too flat. Plenty of screens so you can move around a bit and not lose your lyrics!Drinks are reasonable staff are friendly. We had a great time there and will definitely go back. Good service and enjoyable night. Went with friends who enjoyed joining in the karaoke. Drinks reasonable priced.

Top pub, great bar staff and George is brill, well worth a visit. The karaoke is a right good laugh .

always welcoming george will put on anything you want on tv and has some great videos of various concerts such as queen. food here is cheap but very good limited choice menu but all well cooked favourite is spag bol very large portion and great taste

Not sure why this is classed as an attraction???My husband, 3yr old and I went here for a bite to eat. My husband had a club sandwich which was a little different to the normal club sandwich, as this one had an egg and a layer of sauce although very tasty, I had the chicken curry which was lovely but not the same as you get at home, this curry had sweetcorn, green beans and potatoes in it this came with half chips and half rice. My 3 yr old had jacket potato with beans and cheese of the main menu as he didn't want anything off the kids menu. When the jacket potato came out there where 2 of them with loads of bean and cheese (adult portion). They do a childs menu and 1 child eats for free, the portion sizes are big and great value for money. When we had finished we asked for the bill and when the waitress brought it over the owner called her to take it back, She then brought it back over to us and the owner had removed the cost of my sons meal even though it was an option off the childs menu which was very nice of them to do. Lovely helpful staff and I would recommend this bar for a meal or just a drink.

How can you not drink at George's! He is the star attraction. Been coming to Cyprus for years and always go to George's. Nice to go in there and relax, decent chairs and very entertaining. You want a good time? Got to George's. Mini kypros!

George is a great man and will help you with drink or food or just a taxi could not be more helpful we all had a great there were12 of us and he run about 5star thanks from the wedding party

Absolutely brilliant time was had here, we were with a group of friends (50) also with my wife & son , we had a great time here always till about 2:30-3:00 in the morning always the last to leave :) George makes you very welcome & always sent round the bottle of sambuca to us :) you will love it here it's for all ages it was our second year on the trot here & going back again August 13th this year for another two weeks of chaos ! I hope everyone enjoys this place as much as me & my family a great place to socialise & have fun no matter how old you are with great acts on & killer pool oh my head miss a shot treble shot of zaviner downed & that stuff is lethal !! Enjoy.

We are regular visitors to Protaras and found Yia Mas, aka, George's Pub on our first visit to Protaras. It is down at the bottom of the strip (Fig Tree bay end) and we typically stay in accommodation in this area so always end up in George's for drinks at the end of our evening. They serve some very good food there also, quite basic but freshly cooked and very tasty with good sized portions. George is the owner and is always assisted by extremely hardworking staff who are very attentive regardless of how busy the bar is. George is extremely personable and always remembers us and our boys when we arrive. He ensures the kids are entertained at the pool table (always releasing the balls before they have to pay!!) … happy kids mean happy parents!! Drinks are reasonably prices. It is a good honest place for a drink without all the gimmicks of some of the other strip bars. George has a number of TVs in the bar and will out on whatever you want to watch … he has all the UK channels and has the ability to find live football from anywhere … this probably has something to do with the NASA sized satellite dish behind his bar!!! The Karaoke in the evenings is certainly not of the highest quality but after a few drinks, it is very entertaining. We are going back at the end of July and looking forward to a cheery welcome from George again!!

Where do I start? George's Pub is so friendly and such good value.George and his wife are very hospitable and George is a real character. We spent many great nights here with fun entertainment.The warmth and friendliness creates a great atmosphere.During the day we had some good meals ( thank you Daniella )and for me, the best hot chocolate !! In the evenings a great selection of drinks and cocktails at good prices..a special mention for "sexy George's " Viagra cocktails :-) .The warm greeting we were given each time we went to the pub made us want to return again and again.We came home yesterday and are missing this Pub and the lovely people already. Can't wait to return. Strongly recommended!

A really friendly pub the owner and his wife are lovely he is a real character nice food at decent prices a great selection of beers and cocktails and always a cracking atmosphere
