The tombs look lovely lit up at night, sat by the river with a cold drink! There is a lot of history and your able to take a trip up the mountain to see them close up. A lovely view from a far was enough for me.

Take a small boat tour and visit tombs, it'll totally worth it! It's such a special place for me, there is also Turkish song about Dalyan Delta which is called "Dalyan Deltası" by Bülent Ortaçgil. You can enjoy the view in the small boat listening that song :)

I was fascinated by the tombs. I was aware of them before we got to Dyalan but could not find much information on them and there did not seen to be anyway of visiting them or getting up close unfortunately.

Very interesting but hot and does involve a trek if you are going and need a guide in my opinion do not use Oruc i found them over priced and the details do not match the history

Definitely worth a visit. Take a small boat to cross the river and walk closer to the tombs. So much history in such a little place

Beautiful and spectacular to look at. Shame you can't get near them. Mind you, if they end up covered in sprayed graffiti like the ones in Fethiye town perhaps it's better they remain at a distance.

We stayed in the Dalyan region of Turkey in Sep 2014. We were lucky enough to be able to see the tombs several times during the day and at night from both a boat and the opposite side of the river in bars and restaurants. I would say they are most impressive in the evening when they are floodlit. I found the whole thing totally fascinating and loved learning about the history. Well worth a sail by!

We saw the tombs via boat during an excursion to Dalyan, these are truly amazing and if you are lucky enough to have a good guide they will tell you all about the history of the tombs. The only shame is you can only really view them from afar, not a lot you can do about that unless you fancy abseiling down to them, but would have been nice to get up close wuth themWorth a viewing while your in the area and combined with a nice trip along the beautiful Dalyan river

Went on a boat trip from Marmaris it was an amazing day. Went to turtle beach saw 2 turtles even out of season. Had a swim lovely and warm. Then a boat trip to mud baths. We saw the tombs took your breath away. £12 for a full day taxi to and from hotel and a cooked meal.

Went to see the tombs on a boat trip with our captain Yusuf, Kardak 6 (boat 6) on the way to turtle beach. To have a captain/guide with so much knowledge of the tombs was fantastic. Enjoyed the day trip so much, went later in the week on a moonlight cruise, when the tombs are floodlit. I can find no other word to describe the tombs other than BREATHTAKING.

I really enjoyed the unique, wonderful, amazing view of the rock tombs from the river. We went in a boat and saw three sets of rock tombs!

These tombs were amazing to see from our riverboat tour and it was fascinating to learn about how they were made. Definitely worth the boat trip.
