We expected a few more rooms and more to see, but it was worth the visit and the beer is good enough.

Museum of brewing on the large Lvyv brewery in the historic celling. Not sure if excursion is available in English, I had one in Ukrainian. Worth visiting for one time. Cheap digustation is included. Some suveneers available for purchase. Out of the center location. Togeether with the restauraint with nice decoration but not so cool food. Worth vising for a glass of unfilltered beer brewered on this plant.

For 20 Grivna you get two pints of fresh draft beer and you can enjoy the museum while you are having a feast for your throat with tasty beer. Some interesting items about beer can be seen in the museum.

In the same cellar as restaurant/pub Robert Doms there is a small museum about brewing. There is not that much to see, some artefacts like bottles/barrels and a video in English/Russian/Polish/Ukrainian, but the 20 UAH entrance fee also gives you a 0.3l tasting of 2 beers: Lvivske 1715 and a weizen type of beer called White Lion in English.Didn't check out the restaurant, so can't say something about that.

I went with a friend, she paid 10 grivnas (1 euro) for museum entrance and no beer, I paid 20 grivnas and also got two beers. We got some misinformation, not on the fault of the brewery, that there were English tours that day, but it was not so. Even without a tour though, the museum plus two beers is totally worth the money. The museum exhibits were okay, there were some interesting facts on the history of beer. There was a film played in English for us and the first half was decent, but the second half was just a promotion for Lvivs'ka beer.Make sure to walk to the brewery from the city centre via Bezarna (I think this is the name of the street). You will know when you see it because it is a large open air market selling mainly clothes and some food. It's a real treat to walk.

We were hoping for a bit more of a brewery tour and information about beer brewing in Lviv, but the museum is just a small, poorly labeled/described collection of a few old barrels and pumps, and a bit of associated equipment. There is a file cabinet including some old documents which was interesting. Overall, it wasn't something that I'd recommend highly unless you have already done everything else in town. On the plus side, you get a couple of beers for the price of admission.

Very friendly place and some good tastings of Lviv 1715 beer as fresh as it can be. Has 3 cavernous halls comprising a beautiful restaurant. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.

The place is nice, located in old cellars where beer was stored in old times.Nice food, nice beer and prices are reasonable.

Museum is located in the actual brewing factory, they have big exhibition where they show whole history of Lviv beer, connected with Lviv history with the most interesting part in the end – you can taste different beer for free!

we have taken the tour in the Factory section of the Brewery... It was great!!! But on other hand we had very poor service at the souvenir table... when my husband was whistling some song to him self,- (souvenir) lady demanded to stop whistling immediately, and she was very rude all about it (cuz she was so afraid to loose of her wealth... (oh, some stupet belief):)

Had a great time here on a hot day. I cooled down a bit, the boys had a tour of the brewery. They loved sampling the "live" beer. Cool place, a bit away from the center.

The museum can be walked to from the downtown core. It is behind the open-air bazaar. Some renovations seemed to be happening in November 2010 so we ignored the direction sign on an adjacent restaurant and entered the museum through the restaurant. The advertised street address may be confusing and inaccurate for now.Admission cost 15 UAH, which included a tour of the museum plus two 500 ml glasses of Lvivske beer. The tour featured a history of the brewery, old brewing artifacts and a short film. The modern brewery can be only glimpsed through a small window in the floor and outside. The tour ends in a small underground beer hall where you redeem your coupon for samples of the brew. The souvenirs were reasonably priced with 300 ml Lvivske beer glasses costing 16 UAH. Various sizes of glasses and mugs, up to monster beer mugs, were available as well as bottle openers, t-shirts and other stuff.

You gotta love this place, after all it is a beer museum, and our teenagers even thought it was pretty cool. The museum tells us of the history of beer throughout the world, not just Lviv. Our knowledgeable guide, Ivanka translated for us as English signage and explanations were pretty scarce. She told us that Lviv has been known for its beer making expertise since the 15th century. This brewery was established in 1715 by Jesuits monks, which I found quite interesting. Ivanka told us that one of the responsibilities of the Jesuits was education therefore the science of beer fell under their jurisdiction and they experimented with different herbs and flavours to find interesting combinations. The museum showcases old beer bottles and recipes to name a few things. They also sell huge beer mugs, one of which my son had to purchase. Apparently they hold a whole litre of beer. In the basement in what was once the brewery cellar was a bar that you could purchase beer in those huge mugs. They also served some interesting pub food. Suffice to say the sausages that looked like pepperettes were not beef, pork or chicken but the boys said they were very good. This museum is not in Old Town and we had to take a couple of buses to get there but it is worth checking out.
