The tour was part of Ampora wine tours and this was one of the highlights. The vineyard and cellar tours were very interesting and informative which included a Ferrari F1 engine. The wines were very nice And the tasting well organised and informative. Well worth a visit.

We had a great visit at Pulenta! The guide Connie, was really funny and explained the winemaking process in a great way. Really worth the visit!

Connie, the guide was great, very funny. She has a special way to show how the wine fermentation occurs. Just ask her! Great wines. Gorgeous place. Try the Pulenta Cabernet Franc 2011!

If you're heading to Mendoza, a tour of Pulenta Estate is not to be missed. The winery is located in a beautiful area, with an incredible view of the mountains. Beautiful, picturesque, and idyllic are some words that describe the scenery, but those words do not do it justice. You need to see it all yourself.Pulenta's Hospitality Manager, Michelle, really went the extra mile to help me arrange my trip. I was only able to visit the winery on a Saturday, and she already had a private group tour that day. After some begging, she agreed to accommodate my request for a tour and tasting. She also arranged my transportation to and from the winery. The tour was very interesting. Michelle was very informed about the winery, as well as some of the particularities of wine production in Mendoza. And, of course, the wines are delicious. After tasting, they are available for purchase at very good prices.I am very appreciative to Pulenta Estate and its staff for helping make my visit to Mendoza a great one, and I recommend a visit to this winery without reserve.

We stared at Pulenta and what a way to start the day in the Yuca Valley. It was a beautiful location. Our first tasting before the tour was a sauvignon blanc outside overlooking the vines and the Andes. The tour was interesting, we learn about the process for making wines, the wines of Pulenta and the history. We also learnt about wine tasting, smelling and identifying aromas found in wine (I won’t say more as it will spoil the surprise). We then tasted more wines in another drop dead gorgeous setting. The women who hosted us was very professional, great at her job and a infectious love of the region.

We did a tour at Pluenta and also sampled their wines in a private cellar room. It is a very pretty winery, and the tour was informative- they have some aging equipment that was new to me as a pretty seasoned wino. Our tour guide was great- she fit our vibe and made it all very relaxing and fun. But the most important thing to know is their Cab Franc is one of the best wines I had in Mendoza- it taste and smells just like a roasted green pepper.

We visited 14 wineries in 4 days while in Mendoza, and Pulenta was our absolute favorite. The tour was very well done, and we enjoyed all of their wine. We purchased several bottles to bring back with us and wished we could have ordered a case but the shipping is so expensive. My husband is really into Porsche, so we purchased the 911 blend and he enjoyed the 2 engines on display in the fermentation / tank area. Just a great experience and wonderful wines.

Pulenta was one of the 10 wineries that I selected to visit. It caused me a strong good impression. The tour was very correct. The wines that imports, they are really exclusive. The Cab-Franc is a must! Unparalleled!

We tried several wineries in Mendoza, but we were impressed by Pulenta in particular, both for its history and for the wonderfully crafted wines we experienced there. Shame it is not possible to ship in the States. The hall is not magnificient as many other cellars, but wine is elegant and never overpowerful. 4 stars and a half!

Bit of a difficult one this as I can see how some people would really enjoy Pulenta and others might hate it.The tour was very good and the winery is certainly very impressive - combining elements of wine making with the slick, underground concrete bunkeriness of Dr No's lair in Thunderbolt. In all honesty the place is very impressive and shiny with almost filmic vistas in places......but maybe a little too shiny for my tastes. A bit like staying in a five star hotel where the service is fantastic, but the soul somehow isn't there. It's a very personal thing and I'd imagine most people would love it.One thing that's nice is that there is a choice of tasting - so that you can taste at a price point rather than tasting across the range.Don't get me wrong, the wine was lovely. Some of the best we had. But I was left with sense of too much ostentation for my tastes.
