I was the designated driver, but Mrs JB was very impressed by Ten Minutes. We arrived late afternoon after most of the diners had gone from the restaurant, and were greeeted very politely. Great deal of informmation given about the winery, the grapes, and the different vineyards. ThE young lady serving us was also very nice and genuine-something that can often be lacking from wineries who are a little aloof. Wines were very nice, and we left with a few purchases. I note that the restaurant rates very highly as well (might be hatted). Good for a tasting and a bit of fun

The lady in charge of the wine tasting area certainly let this winery down and put a damper on our visit. We arrived as a small group of 7, and were immediately told that they 'no longer take groups of 7' and there is now 'a policy on this' but apparently would allow it just this once. We had called up prior to arriving and advised them of the group number - so there really was no need to treat us this way and certainly left a bad impression on us all. There were also no other people in the wine tasting area so more than enough room for 7 people! Sometimes perhaps its worth remembering that customer service should be paramount above 'rules and policies'.Despite this, the girl doing our wine tasting was terrific, and the wines were amazing - which made up for the initial bad experience.
