We were on way to Kingslake via Yarra Glen and decided to stop in at the park with our three young daughters. They loved it and gave us a short break to relax before continuing our way. Highly recommended lots of families with kids there.

All the school mums met here on the school holidays. It's 2 suburbs across & 20 mins drive but worth it. Love all the bike/scooter paths & that it's so big!

Glad to see this playground done up in the last few years, always kids here playing any time of the year no matter the weather, its huge and great for all ages... plenty of area and shade to put a picnic rug out and enjoy a picnic while the kids have a play.

The parkland and adventure playground has great facilities, with plenty of undercover areas (in case it rains), plenty of shade from the hot sun, plenty of bbqs and heaps within the playground itself for all ages. Additionally, there is also space to kick or hit a ball. A great spot in the Yarra Valley.

Just a great place for a family day out. A few barbecues (although some of them don't cook hot enough). Great activities for the kids. Plenty of shade and tables.

We were on the way to Heallisville and thought might drop here for sometime and it turns out we spent much longer than planned because we have a 4-year old daughter. This seems to be a paradise for her and there are some playing facilities that she hadn't seen anywhere else.If time permitted, we can easily spend a whole day here. Highly recommended for parents with young kids.

This is a children's paradise, so many fun things to enjoy in the adventure playground. Good to come out of the city and enjoy a family BBQ

My boys loved this playground, great design. Can see you kids from every angle which is one of my main criteria as they tend to run off in different directions. Great bakery over the road too - Yarra Flats Baking Co. nice coffee too :)

This park is perfect for little children to have fun whilst they explore the various play equipment. We use it as a stopping point each time we head through the Yarra Valley.

What a fabulous spot McKenzie Reserve is. A park for the big and little. Undercover bbq facilities, a good distant from the road, a wide wide wide open spaces. Great park play with multiple slides, swings, and huge climbing frame (rope style). Across the road is IGA, Bakery and Marsala Cafe which sells ice-creams. A good morning or afternoon out can certainly be had.

We took a drive out to Yarra Glen to this park with 10 year old twins and I was totally surprised how lovely this park is for children. Lots of play equipment and suitable for all children whether they be able bodied or disabled - even some adults got in on the act. We brought a picnic lunch with us and found a table in shade to eat and spent an hour or so there before driving on. Nearby toilets were clean and parking was easy. For such a small town, this is a real feather in their cap.

Wonderful range of play things for kids of all ages - including me! :) Of course I was only going on the swing to look after the kids ... honest! :)

This park and playground is an absolute gem, and a credit to the Yarra Glen Community. It has plenty of adventure equipment for the children to play on, a basketball ring, BBQ's, tables, seating, lots of shady trees and expanses of grass for ball games. It is set in lovely gardens and across the road from a IGA Supermarket, bakery, butcher's shop & cafes. There are new toilets and a new Community Hall. Yarra Glen is a gem of a village and a great place to visit amongst the wineries, and a great chocolaterie. The new Black Saturday Memorial was unveiled this week and is the most beautiful memorial one could envisage.

Great water feature that the kids have great fun diverting and building sand castles with. Excellent play ground with about the only thing that could be added is a zip line. Excellent picnic/bbq amenities and well maintained toilets. Plenty of parking, lovely outlook and not busy. Right on the main strip with supermarket across the road and plenty of food and cafe shops within short walk.
