It's green, flat, interesting and has lots of shade for the hot days. The layout is very good, every level of player will find it interesting. Good practice facilities and a nice clubhouse round off the trip.

What a breathtaking spot this is. A beautifully manicured course in perfect condition when we played in mid November 2014. Highly recommended to all level of golfers, including choppers like me!

Loved a hit around here with my mate - very well manicured, soft greens and very easy to walk. I also managed a 44 from nine holes so have to give this course 5 stars!

Having keen golfing friends from Melbourne visiting, we took them to the Trentham course. They enthused loud & long over the course. They found it to be all they'd hoped for in a game of golf, & as two of the party, belong to one of Melbourne's elite courses, I took this as a great compliment. AS for me( a complete non- golfer) I had the time of my life, just following them around, as the surrounds are so beautiful, a real country "find".

Great country golf course. My son and myself played on a weekday, so no club activity. The payment is made with a honour box system, you deposit your green fees in an envelope and put it in a box. Then you just start your round. Very flat course, quite short but you need to keep you ball on the fairway, whilst the rough is not too rough, it can be challenging to find your ball in the trees.Very well maintained and the course was a bit dry but well maintained.

There are 4 golf courses within 30 minutes drive of Daylesford, and of these Trentham is the standout for quality fairways & greens, beautiful trees, hundreds of birds, very competitive costs and a sense of no pressure from other golfers. Trentham golf course is also the flatest - no need for a cart. To the very good golfer, it is short (approx. 5,500 metres) but the shortness is made up for by the need to be straight and well positioned. To the casual golfer, this is as courses should be - welcolming, quiet, casual, inexpensive and simply beautiful all year.
