What a beautiful garden! Such a fantastic display of what can be done with just a few acres. I loved the espaliered orchard and the permaculture style food forest particularly. The staff were lovely and the shop's products extensive. There was a nice looking cafe which we didn't have time to eat at, but would like to as they serve an ever-changing menu that includes seasonal produce. A nice way to spend an hour or two.

Visit at least once! Gardeners will adore it. The gardens are lovely and change throughout the year. The staff are friendly, being a diggers club site it has lots of heirloom plants. The cafe is cozy and the food and coffee is good.Even on a busy open day with hundreds of people the staff were polite, efficient and friendly.Been back a few times.

Love going to their festivals and learning a bit more about different gardening techniques and their variety of plants is awesome

A little hard to find but well worth it. A beautiful cool climate garden with lots of hidden nooks. I especially like the food forest. Would be nice to see some labels on some of the plants or have a map to walk around with as I'd love to create some of the garden beds at home.

For it's association with The Diggers Club I really expected something amazing from St Earth. Although it is pretty I felt very underwhelmed with it. If you are heading there via Trentham then a much more spectacular garden that you will drive right past is Frogmore gardens. I think the suburb is call Newbury. Now that is spectacular, and it's the level I expected from St Earth.

If you are not a member of the "Diggers Club" then this will cost AUD$10 per person. However, the cost is worth it to walk around these beautiful gardens.

I loved my visit to St Erth, and looking through the shop with seeds plants and garden books etc. it was a cold day so I did not spend a lot of time but thoroughly enjoyed the gardens although smaller than Heronswood...well worth the visit.

I learn a lot when I visit St Erth. It is a fabulous days outing - you can attend classes on all sorts of things like composting, pruning, espallier-ing , wander through and write down the names of plants you want to grow, purchase plants and garden 'toys' at a very low price and then stop off at the cafe for lunch - where much of the food is grown in the garden. This is so understated and a place you can visit in all seasons. It does close for some of the winter so check before you set off. Visit Frogmore on the way, another garden centre on the Trentham-Blackwood road. A great day our for gardeners.

St Erth is such a beautiful setting, which is well complemented by the food coming out of their kitchen. The home grown ingredients, the care with which it's prepared and the variety have always been great. Really enjoyable!

The Garden of St Erth is a beautiful place to visit if you want some peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings. The gardens are just lovely, a mix of woodlands, manicured garden beds, orchards and bush. There is a nice cafe, a small nursery and varied gardening products to purchase. There are numerous birds, so birwatchers would enjoy it too. A lovely way to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the rest of the garden but the shop alone was more than enough to fascinate us! Would definitely be heading back to check out the garden and the cafe.
