Loved it, could have gone crazy but had no money. Lots of foods to taste before you buy, loved that idea very much!

I love the Mornington Market, it has a lovely atmosphere, plenty of stalls including Hand made goods, food, produce, plants etc.. Most of it is outdoors so if the weather is nice it is a lovely walk around the stalls.I suggest you get there early ( No later than 9am ) to get a decent car park and before it gets too busy. Parking is a small fee but worth it to be able to park close by.

We visited on Sunday of the long weekend. This is one of the best markets we have visited with a great variety of products. We can highly recommend the pudding stall - we had the nicest sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce. The baked bread was also extremely good. I would suggest you try to get there early as it did get busy quickly.

If you're looking for authentic, original, unique arts and crafts ... this is one of the best markets I've ever been to. Innovative, delightfully original crafts .. very little of the recycled foreign imports that you find in other crafters markets. Quite a bit of entertainment to keep the little ones engrossed. Food was a little expensive but full of variety.

This is a great market with lots of different stalls selling locally made crafts and produce. Great place for gift shopping and everything is really well priced. There are also dozens of food stalls so you can eat and shop along the way. Plenty of parking at the racecourse but get there early as the line in gets long!

Have been going to this market for years, and alternate between this one and the Red Hill Markets (mostly the same stall holders). Love having Harry Ho dim sims or a bacon and egg roll from breakie, whilst wandering around. Plenty of things to look at and a great place to buy nice gifts.

We've been going to this market for longer than I can remember. There are many weekend markets on the Mornington Peninsula, the Red Hill Market being the most famous, but the Mornington Racecourse Market just keeps getting better and better. In recent years the addition of many food stands and great coffee has elevated this to a must do for us. We live in Jakarta and travel to Melbourne two to three times each year for family visits, but we never make our booking without first finding out if the market it on and changing our dates to accommodate getting to the market.Tips and Tricks:Never park in the street outside, you WILL be booked, there is plenty of parking inside and lots of volunteers to help youGet there early. The place fills up really quickly and if you are arriving at 1200 you are too late. It tends to wind down around 2pm and is pretty much shut up by 3pm. Get there around 8 to 9am and you'll have plenty of time to see everything and eat most of what is on offerCoffee: There are at least 4 really great coffee spots. Strangely the one with the longest queue (just down the path) with the big truck is the quickestFood: You can get it all here. Malaysian, Turkish, Greek, Mexican, Spanish, Burgers, Veggie, Vegan, Gluten Free, you name it they have it. We usually graze our way by starting with a wonderful fresh mango yoghurt cup near the entrance, then wander down and snack on noodles, goyoza, calamari, pizza, paella, burp.....its all thereBut it is a craft market and there are some really lovely and innovative crafts for sale. We always spend more than we plan and then have to worry about it all fitting into the suitcases. Cards: There are some great greeting card stalls, our favourite is inside the shed near the entrance, all hand made and lovely. You can make special orders if you wishHoney: Please make sure to visit the honey stall of John Winkels. The Winkels family are an institution in the Frankston, Mornington, Baxter, Moorooduc area. John is a traditional honey maker and his love for his bees is an inspiration. You just wont believe how really wonderful his honey is. If we treated honey like we treat coffee the world would be a better place.Yes it does rain sometimes, but strangely the rain clouds seem to scud around the racecourse a lot, it might be windy, but not that wet, most of the time.Take your blanket and stretch out on the grass and listen to some of the many musicians and groups playing as well.Just a great Sunday experience.

Parking is easy and its well laid out on flat terrain. Lots of plants, crafts, food, art, etc.A great way to start the day before heading down to Main street

We intended to pop in briefly but ended up spending quite a while. There is lots of good quality crafts and food and most is not too pricey. One of the best markets I've been to.

Lots of stalls selling local produce as well as meeting local potters, sculptors (think rusty garden art), jewellers, jam makers, green-thumbed gardeners, authors and photographers. Every month, hail rain or shine.

This is a great market with plenty of parking!! There is lots of food and everything from paintings to wooden outdoor furniture to buy.

The service is good. The atmosphere is good. It caters for gluten intolerance as well. There is no push to hurry you out. You can be in out quickly or take as long as you like. There hot chocolates are delicious. The only complaint is the hard seats. I have to take a cushion to sit on.

I bought honey, homemade crafts, takeaway food and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of people milling around the market stalls, so much going on.People, children, families and lots of excitement.Get their early for car space or park along the adjoining streets it always busy

Bring the kids, there is painting and animal farm, plenty of food and drink... try the churros and paella awesome!!
