its was terrific , great food drinks and live music, a must go for everyone. worth every minute, service was excellent and had nothing to fault, lucky wife was my taxi as there was a variety at the bar that I had to try

The Information Centre at Mornington recommended this place for the pizzas, beer, budget and family friendly vibe. Excellent set up at the brewery...simple menu (great pizzas!), indoor/outdoor options, beaut brews and easy to run a tab at the bar. Thursday night special was a bonus. Kids felt very ' grown up ' in a suitable informal setting. We loved it! I'd be here every week if I was a local. Well done.

My partner and I spent a day in Red Hill and surrounds; I googled local breweries as my partner likes beer when the Mornington Peninsula Brewery came up.Their website advised they opened Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; so we decided to visit. Only to be disappointed when we were arrived that they were closed. Just curious to why they would not advise on there website something among the lines of "open Thursday's, except New Years Day"??? OR Why they would infact close on a public holiday during peak holiday season in a renowned holiday destination? Let's just say on arrival... We were not the only ones disappointed with there choice to close.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, and there was something for everyone. My husband loved the craft beer.We all loved the pizzas( except the salami), and the music was excellent .All ages were there.Great atmosphere and staff so knowledgeable.

The menu is straight-foward. It's own label beer, local wine, organic soft drink, and brilliant pizzas. This gem is hidden in an industrial part of Mornington. Worth finding and visiting. The service is generally good. The ambiance is terrific. The entertainly is usually top notch. The pizza is what drives me to return again and again (dough made with their very own brew).

We stopped in for a quick lunch based on good reviews on Urbanspoon and were very happy with our choice - the pizzas were delicious - crispy bases and lots of toppings. Some unique combinations, but they worked! Service was very efficient too - we didn't realise that they only started serving pizzas from 1pm on Saturdays - but we were able to place our order around 12.50pm, and our pizzas arrived fresh from the wood fired oven at 1.01pm!

We weren't expecting it to be in the middle of the factories but inside MPB was cool, very fun and the live band made a pretty good atmosphere! Plenty of beer varieties to choose from and you even have the option of getting tasting paddles for $12-$16... pizza id available which is nifty. What I didnt get was why are there so many families in a pub...so I definitely think you can go with friends and kids.

A popular place at weekends for locals. Great pizzas and beers, with always something special from the talented team behind the scenes. The slightly "industrial " setting might be a bit off-putting, but don't be.Courtyard for warmer evenings. My only criticism is that the brewery is not really acoustically good for live music, but that's a minor gripe. The beers are the heroes, and you can take some home!!!

I have been there a couple of times now with a group of work colleagues to finish off a peninsular winery tour. As a bit of a beer connoisseur and home brewer I LOVE their tasty hoppy brews. The guys who own and run the place are real "good blokes" and are really accomodating. They did a brewery tour for us too. Highly recommended.Dont let the industrial area turn you off!

What a great find. The pizza's were terrific, we shared 4 and enjoyed all of them. We had a tasting paddle of the beer and it was unanimous that the Witbier was the favorite. Bustling atmosphere, people seemed to hang around for hours. Band played most of the time with short breaks, making it a great fun way to fill an afternoon. We could have stayed on for dinner it was so good. Will be going back when i am not designated driver!

A great little brewery that is very welcoming, their beers are great and the softdrinks they stock beautiful. We had a quattro woodfired pizza whike there too. Wow! Many A great relaxing afternoon to be spent here.

Hidden away in the Mornington industrial estate, the Mornington Peninsula Brewery is a great little place to stop in for some live entertainment, a tasty locally produced beer and GREAT woodfired pizza. Unexpectedly, its also pretty family friendly so it has a relaxed and accommodating atmosphere. Worth a visit if you fancy a casual Sunday outing.

Unfortunately timed my visit with Father's Day which meant there were lots of children running around, young families and I felt that really detracted from the atmosphere of this slightly grungy brewery to be like. Great on appearances, not so much on the delivery.I took my overseas friends to it as where they are from, there are quite a few local breweries. You line up to order, take your beer/s and a number for your pizza order. Then locate a place to sit in the main area, courtyard outside or upstairs. This all sounds fine until you realize the line that forms prevents a lot of movement, especially with your hands full. There did not seem to be a system for the wait staff to locate your whereabouts so you feel that after the first 20 minutes that they may have forgotten your order, and they were really unhelpful when queried as to how much longer it was going to be.The beer was decent but to me it seemed like it lacked a depth of flavor, the pizza served was not great but not bad either. Initially we found a spot in the courtyard but it was too sunny and there were no tables available so we were on the garden edging, we tried to sit inside but the only space was right next to the live band which didn't work out so well for our ear drums. We ended up sitting upstairs on the only spot available, being a broken couch, which started off being slightly amusing, then just ridiculously uncomfortable. The whole interior smells like hops which over time got a bit cloying and not the best in regards to stimulating the appetite.I would have said it would be a great place to bring a few mates as an alternative to a bar...except for:- the disappointing service,- very limited seating (admittedly it was a busy Sunday),- not enough table space for the pizza boards,- very long wait on food and the fact that we ordered three pizzas, got two and a shrug when asked where it was, and the third arriving a good 10 minutes after without any apologies. - The piles of pizza boards and empty glasses lying around and staff walking right past it all instead of clearing it up, - broken couches - not enough shade in the courtyardThis all made for a very disappointing first impression.
