Wow. We loved this place! If you are also looking into family history this is the place to go. The lady on the day we went (5 Jan) was such a lovely lady. We were here for ages and our two children aged 4 & 7 coped very well and they had some items at the museum that interested them as well.

Loved the displays of items from the old days The staff member on duty was polite and informative. Great place to take the family.

This museum is a gem. Displaying many artifacts from the history of the town going back to the gold rush era. Staffed by volunteers who have an extensive knowledge of the town's history and the displays. There are two buildings with exhibits, plus an outdoor display. Entry is $2 per person, children free. Money and time well spent in this attraction finding out a more about the town's history.
