I should declare im a local, the area has over 15 wineries and this one is one of two wineries in the area that have truely world class wines. The setting isnt bad either.

Lovely winery, refined ambience and 5 star service by the cellardoor young gentleman Frederić. Very knowledgable and good explanation on the wines!

Once we walked into the cellar door, we were important. The gentleman behind the counter welcomed us and made us feel at home, good salesperson. We went through the wines, he explaining all to us. This is a place all good wine drinkers must visit. We were so impressed with the wines we joined Cellar Key Clb. Can't wait for the first delivery.

visited Taltarni during our visit of the Pyrenees vine region. Very knowledgeable cellar door attendant. Worth the visit.

The woman serving us for our wine tasting was knowledgable and friendly. The setting and cellar door area are really lovely. We brought a selection of wines from them.

Great wines, lovely sparklings. The cafe and restaurant look good and so did the food, though we didn't stay for it.

Coming to the Avoca Pyrenees and NOT going to Taltarni would be a very silly journey. A stalwart in the area their hospitality to the casual cellar door visitor is very accommodating and the full range of wines reasonably priced for purchase.

Visited Taltarni for the first time. We were very impressed with the range of wines available. The staff member who attended to us was very friendly and very informative. The grounds were lovely and the whole experience was very enjoyable. We will definitely visit again

Absolutely loved this winery. It was the first of three we visited as part of a winery tour with Lee's Limousine. The staff were friendly, accomadating and we enjoyed a chat and laugh while stating heir delectable array of wines. Fair and reasonable prices. Lovely setting - the views from the tasting area ere magnificent. Well worth a visit - I will be returning!

Visited with a group of friends and had a lovely time tasting the wide variety of wines available. The staff were friendly and attentive (not wine snobs) and nothing was too much trouble for them. Also signed up for the wine club which is exceptional value and were treated immediately to some freebies and 25% off purchases made on the day.The tasting room is lovely and the surrounding grounds and views fantastic. If you cannot find a wine that you like here .... you're not really trying. Fantastic!!!

My overall favourite winery in the area.Lovely staff, nothing was a trouble, great information regarding wines produced. Other wineries could take note of Taltarni.

Had enjoyed 1 of their wines at lunch and went to buy a case plus try some of their other wines. We waited in the Tasting Area for 10 minutes or more but no one was around and there was no buzzer to let anyone know out the back they had a potential client. We just walked out and left. P

The wine tasting room is large & airy & has great views of the vines on the surrounding hills. The manager was very knowledgeable, checking each wine before serving to ensure you only get the best. While there you can taste sparkling, red or white from Taltarni & Clover Hill.

Visited on Saturday afternoon 4/1/2014 @ 4 p.m. To sample wines. While I found there wines to be of a good but not great quality (heat effected largely due to the drought of the 2002-09 period) Their cellar staff had an outstanding knowledge of their wines and there wasn't one answer provided that I felt was inadequate. I believe he has been at taltarni for 12 years.Kudos to Taltarni and to the employee.
