I don't mind Oaks hotels, but I find little things like not being able to get fresh milk frustrating and I tend to find they are a bit clinical. The room was nice and clean, it was disabled, not sure if all the studios are like that? I would say that the shower was a bit of a worry, it was very slippery when I got in, it may have just been detergent left behind, but my suspicion is that the very shiny tiles are probably just not suitable for a disabled shower. Coffee Club and Ribs and Rumps are located in the same premises, and signage indicates that you should be able to go to the second floor and get there, but when I tried I couldn't so I went the long way. As far as value for money goes, it was $169 for a self contained studio unit with laundry facilities (although the washing machine was a washer dryer combo and seemed to take forever) and a full sized fridge. I would say it was ok value for money but not great. Would I stay there again? I would probably go somewhere else.
