This lovely family operated vineyard is a great spot to visit anytime. Very friendly staff, tasty wood fired pizzas, prepared while you wait, delicious wines. The buildings and de core are all made from recycled wood barrels - which was pleasant to the eye and very innovative on their part. I loved the chandeliers! We went as a group tour and the young lady was so informative and passionate about the vineyard it was quite mesmerising just listening to her. Would recommend a visit.

If you are 'doing' the wineries around Murrumbateman, Four Winds is an excellent one to visit at about lunch time. Taste some of their very pleasant offerings, and then enjoy a glass (or a local ale or cider) with one of their wood-fired pizzas in their tasting room while basking in the warmth cast by the log-burning heater and enjoying the view over the vines. The range of pizzas is limited but no big deal; thoroughly enjoy the potato and gorganzola, washed down with some Four Winds shiraz. Didn't try their espresso but overheard other patrons complimenting the staff on it.

This was the second last visit on our wine tour. Fantastic staff...very friendly and knowledgeable. The wood fired pizza's went down a treat with everyone. The wines were lovely and probably the most popular on our tour with quite a few being purchased. I myself picked up a bottle of the Shiraz and Merlot. Cannot rave enough about the staff....extremely friendly and helpful even when overloaded with customers. Sitting back on a weekend enjoying a few glasses of wine and some wood fired pizza in the vineyard....is this an ideal scenario? Well it is what we did...who could wish for more?Again the staff were accommodating, and when asked if they could make a pizza without cheese for the Lactose intolerant among us...there was no issue and 15 min later we had our pizza. Every whim was catered for.

Good range of local wines, and a very pleasant cellar door, complete with espresso machine and wood fired pizzas, overlooking tranquil vineyards. Well patronised by local cyclists

A fun evening amongst the vines. Sarah is a lovely host, and the band was fabulous. Wood fired pizzas went down a treat, and I particularly enjoyed their riesling.

Great wine tasting experience. Not too many wines to taste so you actually enjoy them more I think. Enthusiastic, knowledgable staff without being overbearing.Great riesling, merlot and cab merlot!. Quirky, modern interior reflecting ingenious re use of old wine barrels, from the bar top and light fittings to the Christmas tree. Fabulous pizza oven that burns all weekend and tables where you can laze away an afternoon enjoying pizza, wine and views of the grapevines. Didn't have time for pizza so can't wait to go back. They are having an event coming up called 'Carols by the Barrels' which sounded like great fun, if we lived closer we'd defenitely be there. Look at their website.
